I’ve found it be a very easy grow, it stretches a tad and loves feed

You won’t be able to grab exactness from someone else’s journal. You will want to study the various training methods and soil recipes etc but ultimately each plant will demand different things, even identical strains. I got good journals, please read them they might help, I’m still learning and I have found that the best journals to read are those from newbs like myself. Pros make very few mistakes so not alot to “learn” from their journals. More motivation to learn then anything. I reccomend putting together a list of supplies, then tagging a pro like @Covertgrower or @Budz (there are quite a few pros here) and checking with them to see if you have missed anything. Start your grow, then ask questions along the way. Start with a single plant so if you kill it, you can replace it. The support ticket above will tell you where to begin learning by identifying things that others will need to diagnose any issues you have. Those areas, like ph and ppm of feeding solutions, light intensity etc etc are areas of great importancevso learn about them first. Happy growing

Are in soil or coco.

You will need a ph meter and a TDS meter.

I’m going to tag @dbrn32 to help you with choosing a light. Really depends on your budget.

How much of 8x8 is planned as actual plant canopy?

What do you mean by that

Basically he’s asking how much of the 8x8 are you planning to have plants in. Canopy is the top of your plants. If you only intend to grow 2 or 3 plants then you wouldn’t need to light entire area. If you want to run as many as possible in the area then you would need to light entire space. If you want to light entire 8x8 area properly it may get fairly expensive.

Like Bulldognuts said. It’s unlikely you are going to have an 8x8 full from wall to wall, so I wouldn’t expect you to plan lighting it as such. If you want that capability I would just buy 4 fixtures that are designed for a 4x4 grow tent.

plants, leaves, and buds wall to wall. Tough to access plants with it full like that. More than likely, four 4x4 sections that include 24" ( what ever size is needed) paths dividing the sections.

These elements are not pheno specific. That is, medium, feeding schedules, watering and lighting are pretty much the same no matter what you’re growing.

That’s what I thought but wasn’t sure thank you so much

@what_the_thc_is_this if you are looking for 4 fixtures them I would go with 4 HLG 260 XL. I love mine so far.

Great choice, but four of them would only really flower half of 8x8 well.

Oops sorry. I was thinking 4x8 lol
