Anybody seen these little critters when watering?

I’ve got these little white critters swimming everywhere when I water. Any idea what they might be? Trying to get a better picture. I would like to post a video but not sure how to do it.

Looks like fungus gnat larvae. And a lot of them. Are you seeing any adults flying around? May need to get some Diatomaceous earth and let that soil dry out to clear them up

I agree with @BobbyDigital. Look like larvae. Usually come from overwatering your plants. Can you tell us more about your setup? What soil, how often are you watering, what nutrients are you using?

@MattyBear sorry I was focused on a better picture. I’m using coco and perlite. Watering every day with advanced nutes sensi coco bloom. I am seeing a few adults, and using sticky traps to weed them out. Will green cleaner work as a drench or is there something better?

@BobbyDigital thank you

Interesting. I didn’t think they’d invade coco.

Since you’re using coco and feeding daily, you could go to the extremes of watering with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water. That should help kill most of the larvae, but if there are adults, they will multiply and come back so you might need to do it more than once. Sticky traps are good to have around to try and catch as many as possible. Letting your medium dry out will also discourage laying eggs in your soil (need it moist/wet), but that’s not ideal when growing in coco

How is your airflow around the pots? Pests don’t like constant airflow either

@MattyBear great idea, yes I need a fan around the pots. Have a oscalating fan over the canopy but not on the pots.

They will but never had them bad enuff for larvae to appear. I think this certain plant has less perlite and retains moisture longer.
