Any Model Train Fans?

I had a large N-scale model train that I took down 15 years ago to replace the carpet in the house.

I’ve cleaned out an old bedroom to set it back up. I am starting with a 3 x 8 foot table and will eventually add a 6 foot table and another 8 foot table.

The white strip separating table halves is silicone caulk. I’m in the process of layering in caulk to form a river in the layout.

Instead of The Polar Express, will it be The Bud Express? The Trainwreck Train? Alaskan Bananaberry Glacial Express?

Trim up some frosty buds to look like xmas trees in the cargo cars, put a bunch of MJ seeds in the grain cars…

I like the idea, could do a lot with it.

Could always call it the pineapple express. I know I know there’s a movie by that name. But in my defense, the movie was about cannabis.

Now i want to bresk out my old HO scale train.

I had a POST WAR LIONEL O GAUGE No. 2344 NEW YORK CENTRAL F-3 “A-A” DIESELS (1950-52) that I passed on to my son and grnakids, they still put it around the tree at Christmas, everything works except the diesel horn
I left it with a hobby shop to find parts they moved and lost the old horn can’t find a replacement

The grandkids love it :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I revived my Dads setup after he passed. I leave it up about 2 months a year around Christmas. These are LGB trains on G gauge track. As kids he set up a platform that could run 4 Lionel trains, so much fun.

Nothing compared to Rod Stewart’s model railroad though :joy:.
