Is it ready?
Latest pictures from an OG Kush autoflower. 12.5 weeks from seed. A lot of amber trichomes on the sugar leaves (thanks to the poster in another thread who explained why that was).
The calyx trichomes seem to be more milky-clear? Can’t tell if she’s ready or not?
The fan leaves have long since turned dry and crumbly. Would like to know what happened there, as well?
Got some serious frost in her. Gorgeous, what’s the rest of the plant look like?
The one in front. It’s pretty small. And it’s leaves kind of dried out and got brittle many weeks ago. Don’t know why? Lack of humidity?
First dark green, now turning yellow.
What effect are you going for? More head high, speedy or couch lock? If more speedy then all cloudy is your jam. The more amber, the more couch lock. If they’re mostly cloudy and clear I’d give it a few days and check again.
I would say another week or 2
I’ve experienced some brittleness like that from letting my soil dry out too much and the fans can’t recover from the hard wilt, do you think it’s more of a nute burn?
i’ve often had it go just like this with autoflowers. I always feel like its a bit too much nutrient at the end but the end product is always good regardless.
Could be. This is my third grow. Each one is different.
I see all these pictures of beautiful , mature plants with lush green fan leaves. Mine usually end up looking like the one in the back, left - dying fan leaves toward the end.
Dry, brittle leaves is a new one, though.
Have you noticed any patterns to your grow style that may indicate or point to a clue to what’s reoccurring? You’ll continue to evolve as a grower and each experience will build up your knowledge base to draw from. I’ve tried so many different things over the years that I’m definitely opinionated about my grows nowadays. Just keep plugging away at it. You’ll figure it out.
