fresh paint works wonders
killing it…awe job…
I call it bud back building. Plants look great!
thanks it appears to work. It seems to also lesson foxtails. The tipped buds seems to fill in rather than new calyx growing of top of each other. Just a casual observation based on the few that I cut vs didn’t.
@beardless , wow. Just went through this thread. Amazing! Just Amazing!
Thanks It jumps around a bit with three different setups and finishing the closet. Never get bored.
Don’t sell yourself short! The setup, the room, the attention to detail & the results are something to be proud of.
Set to watching!
Edit: the bud back building technique I’d read about lately. Your pics are the first I’ve seen with the results. It makes perfect sense & looks like it actually is effective.
It did to me too. I just heard of it and this is first opportunity to give it a try.
I just enjoy doing this and trying to make it more enjoyable by having the setup and facility to make it so.
Glad to have you along. Getting close to harvesting the SOG. Thinking around Thanksgiving for the two in the tent. December ?? for the 3 in the closet. Sounds like I will need more jars and Grove bags.
SOG day 70 12/12.
I took a sample from two buds. One of the taller ones with some foxtailing. The light green spot is where I cut the sample
You get some wash out from flash so I tried one with the grow light on
Not quite sure if this is a new calyx ???

A couple of them.

In the back you can see some amber on a sugar leaf

A little bit closer now

Overview
Hold on I got more
I took the other sample from this bud.
I can’t say I have seen this before.

Still a lot of clear and not much cloudy on this sample

The sugar leaves are not changing yet

Almost - not quite

Hummmmmmm

This is one that I had cut the tip off
I fed them Jack’s at 50% rate today. Next will be water and some Flawless Finish.
I had backed off of Jacks the preceding week. I think it is showing in the lower leaves
I will leave you with this group shot.
Till next time.
Looks like BOM contenders from here! Chunky looking buds.
Thanks - see how they clean up and if I can get any decent photos
Wow killing it now I don’t even wan a enter the bom contest next month lol
I do wonder if clones from ILGM seeds are OK to enter. I would think so but not positive.
Thanks for the kind words.
They all look incredible! I’d love to open that in my own house
Check this link out. I use supplemental red 660nm to produce them.

Under magnification.
I thought I saw something about that somewhere. I have four pacific light concepts photo boost strips in the tent with the Kind light. Maybe?? This was the first it was really noticeable.
@Audiofreak am I correct you use a Moisture Meter to determine moisture content for curing?
this one seems to be popular around here

Do the pins have to be contact or penetrate the stem? If the bud is dense enough, can you get a reliable reading from just the stem.
Thanks
Yes I’ve started using the moisture meter exclusively. But dont test in the stems, stick in the buds only. I’ve had fantastic results using it. It really does work well in the buds
