An Old Rooster in the Weeds with an Auto

I’m excited about dropping beans, and Nancy is holding her own, but I’m more excited that the Missus just booked a couple of nights next week for a stay on Galveston island!
A couple of days relaxing on the beach trying to consume my bodyweight in raw oysters and fried shrimp sounds like paradise about now :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

How y’all doing, Brother?

That sounds like awesome eats right there :+1: :+1:

Doing ok, over did me thinks the last 5 days.

I remember someone telling me not to overdo it…

Take care of yourself!!
I know… much easier said than done :hugs:

Come on yall, don’t be giving Chippy cigarettes, they make him crazy!:joy::rofl:

Just having unopened silica in the house has dramatically improved Nancy’s attitude:

Kidding, Nancy only gets uglier. I’ll take pictures of her tomorrow, hoping to get some smokeable flower :grimacing:
I say tomorrow because my HR department kindy gave me two days off, apparently to reflect on my comments at today’s “Pronouns are 'Portant” meeting, or whatever they called it.
Without going into detail (we’re here as a family with a common passion), I responded to a pronoun question with roughly:
“I was born and raised in South Texas. We say “Yes Ma’am” and “Yes Sir”. Maybe Miss Mary or Mr Mike.”
Obviously (I’ll blame the stroke), lacking the air pressure to stop this runaway, I closed with “I’ll be 62 in a couple of months. I’ve got socks that know what Mr. and Mrs. mean”.

With a chance to sleep in tomorrow, I’m sampling some of our older, well cured harvests with some amazing wine.
This is a great time to punch out. :cowboy_hat_face:
Nite all. Sweet dreams, safe nights and see y’all in the morning.
:sunny:

Sleep well Red :+1:

Good morning, Keepers of the Green!!
I slept in, didn’t crawl out until 7:30… I’m usually up by 3:45, so that’s darn near like staying in bed until noon for me.
Here’s Nancy, and having counted she’s much younger than I was thinking (it’s been a long couple of months here). 65 days above ground, broke soil April 9th. Jeez, I was WAY off!

I just have the phone, but under the loupe the trichs are starting to fill in nicely.

We might just get a harvest after all!

Oh, and apparently I still have a job. My boss called this morning wanting to know if I was up to rebuilding a diesel turbo on Monday. He also politely requested that I keep my mouth shut during company meetings…

So a question…
My next grow will start shortly.
I’m happy with my medium and nutes, looking forward to adding silica to the mix, as well as the yucca-based wetting agent.
For the first time, I bought a small bottle of Superthrive…
I’m a “label junkie”, and can’t see that this is just a touch of N, a touch of B1, and a ton of “inert ingredients”.
Did I just buy snake oil?

Superthrive isn’t snake oil, used at the right times and right amount, it can be a great growers tool! I’ve used ST for years, it’s good for clones, and transplants. With that said, it’s not necessary to grow well.:oncoming_fist:

Having mowed the yard and fed the birds, I’ve been authorized by the Missus to use the remainder of today engaging in puttering, late night gardening, and heathenistic pursuits.

Here here my Brother, I’m in!:beer_mug::clinking_beer_mugs::wine_glass::cocktail_glass::tropical_drink::clinking_glasses::bottle_with_popping_cork::tumbler_glass::joy::rofl:

This buds for you, @Growdoc !

Helping the Missus today with her roses and succulents…
I won’t use Happy Frog anymore, but I’m always up for Optimistic Toad… :hugs:

Hopefully this isn’t a killer toad…
