In all seriousness though that came out of the blue for me, just bopping along adding some details to his suggestion and getting ripped into (politely, I might add - it was definitely diplomatic, credit where it’s due). I tell my wife all the time, I need to learn to put down complete thoughts and not just the meat of it. I think I come off much more pretentious than I mean to because I don’t start with why I’m dropping off that tidbit and wandering away 
Yessir you got that right. Not only is it way cheaper in the end, it’s so much better to regulate the quality of your own grow and know what you’re getting. I abuse the bejeesus outta my stuff but I like to think I treat it right when it counts (harvest time). Some old timer called it “too wet” cuz I like my stuff bong-ready at 62% and he likes his joint friendly at 58%. everyone’s a critic.
Hey, I resemble that remark! This old timer only went with 58% because of what he read on a forum (not this one!) and started using them! Now I have 30 of them and they are reusable, so will continue until they dry right up. Might try the 62% later, who knows? My Death Bubba was super tight and sticky buds, the 58’s worked well. My 9 Lb Hammer was bigger buds, not so tight, and 62’s might have worked better on that.
Oh, and no offense taken Lady @Graysin ! Old timer is one of the nicest things someone has called me! And I’m not really that old (altho there are days I feel it)!
Well we haven’t harvested completely yet I just had my 2 tallest colas in the hotspot so they were light burning bad and didn’t want to do the rest of the plant out of range so I figured if it was going to burn up regardless I might as will inhale it while it burns.
From what I understand not only is it super early to be pulled off, the microwave zapped a lot of the goodies out so it should be a much better quality after she finishes out and cures correct?
It’s a mixture really. Granted his feelings being hurt could have been avoided if you acknowledged him in your comment, part of it was on him too. Like I said before I tagged you and we started interacting I had given advice to someone and you corrected it without saying anything to me and it’s not like you were like “this mf up here don’t know what he’s talking about” but something about not acknowledging the parts you agree with, and then adding stuff that’s different than what we said, gets our pride all jumbled up and makes us salty. Bc like I said I went to your page and checked out your interactions with other people and realized you meant nothing by it I was just in my feels letting my pride run free. More than likely dude has a lot going on, and he came to a place where he feels validated and felt like someone was attacking that. So many different things that could be going into it lol but my point is it’s not all your fault.
Also I’ve just learned that you can click on someone’s quote and it shows the entire post the quote came from which is pretty neat
I wish I knew what how wet the stuff I grounded up was bc it was definitely more wet than most bud I’ve came across but it wasn’t so wet that it kept going out or running on one side it s a slowish controlled burn and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I hear nothing but good things about that strain. Really want to try it.
I got the 9 Lb Hammer as part of my Free Seeds when paying by credit card. I searched the site for the most potent/expensive strain I could find for my 3 freebies!
She’s a stretch monster, so beware! Even with training she grew long and lanky, almost twice the height of the Dutch Treat she grew up with. Her clones were the same. But HUGE colas! Like forearm size! Even trimming off long buds that sorta merged (but had a couple inches between bud nodes) I ended up with colas that barely fit into my pasta sauce jars, and weighed in between 11 and 20 grams each, all 5 tops together weighed 76 grams! Smokes nice too!
Definitely needs to be tied up for support tho.
Sweet mother of fuck dude those are some huge colas. I come on here to say I’m hitting a rite of passage bc my buds are starting to weigh down the branches but my shits only 2-3 fingers wide and hear you are with mini baseball bats way to shit on my parade sir but I’ll definitely keep her in the top of the list to try. Right now I’m stupid excited for the Do Si Dos from Canuk seeds @Graysin was nice enough to send in his care package. My other seeds are unknown genetics so we’re about o find out how much better my growing setup can be with these tested and true genetics.
I wonder how they would have grown if I didn’t neglect them! I didn’t want them, tried to give them away when they were little, but nobody wanted them…for free even! So I left them in the ittle pots (didn’t have any bigger ones and didn’t want to waste ProMix on them), I barely fed them, no training, etc. I just couldn’t kill them so crammed those 5 and 4 Dutch Treat clones in the 4x4 with their mothers under 12/12 and let 'em ride! It wasn’t until probs week 6 of flower I went “Damn, these are turning into something!” and started feeding them!
And I only germed 1 of the 3 seeds, still have 2 left!
Well then I suggest you plant those little golden nuggets and see what you can make out of them! They’re clearly resilient and well handle whatever training you throw their way so I’d try some crazy training you’ve wanted to try or just aiming to max both out and see what they become. Get you a BOM winner. I’ll be there one day I promise.
I can’t ever enter BOM contest…unfortunately ILGM doesn’t ship to Canada, and only ILGM seeds qualify. Don’t know why they don’t ship here, they will ship to illegal states but not to a legal country? Things that make you go Hmmmmmm!

Thanks @Graysin for the offer! I’ve got my clones going now and have this grow and the next taken care of. When my son gets married in Sri Lanka next September, there will be a 1 month break in the cycle where I will probably switch to hydro and just run 2 in the tent. Might take you up on that offer then, altho I found a not bad seed site in Vancouver that good strains/genetics.
And I’m like you, a lazy grower who puts the girls thru the wringer at times! So I don’t know whether they would be BOM contenders or not! Altho when I go hydro, I’ll have things dialed in better, will have to buy a pH pen and a TDS meter, none of which I have or use now! The joys (and forgiveness) of using AN pH Perfect products!

If we’re being honest here coach it was justification to try it and once the idea popped in my head I couldn’t shake it plus I think it was worth it in the end
Also the cheat code to mask the marijuana smell is to get a crockpot and put chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper I don’t smell a single shred of marijuana just the beginning or creamy white chicken enchiladas
