Almost done? Or do i wait?

Keep in mind when looking at the trichomes don’t pay attention to the sugar leaves focus on the buds sugar leaves are misleading.

Yes they are! I left a few buds still on the plants in my tent ripening to further establish an appropriate harvest time for my next grow. Seeing its my first here, i will be able to fine tune my next harvest by doing this. I pulled a few early, a few days ago and yesterday and in a few more days i will pull the rest. I want a broad spectrum over the ripening phase. I need better understanding of exactly when i would like to harvest so i need to be able to see it and experience its THC/CBD ratios at the same time to be able to fully comprehend when I’d like to harvest. I am just going on a blind with this grow/harvest.

Dude let all the buds grow it’s about quality smoke … Patience is a virtue.
This plant I have growing has at least 3 more weeks I’m starting week 8. Rock N Roll

Good luck. These ladies will tell you when they are ready, not the other way around.

Harvesting too early sacrifices both quantity and quality. This will be helpful here:

Good video. I’ve watched it before.
I just harvested. They were at the beginning of week 10. I left a small amount of smaller, lower buds to continue to ripen. It will be interesting catching them at a different level of THC percentages.

I like some amber and do this too as the lowers don’t seem to ripen as fast.

I think a small amount of amber is going to be the go too for me also. It seems theres a bigger high with some. I haven’t really been able to test any that i harvested yet but i think it was a little too soon soon harvest now in retrospect. I will know better one it cures and what i have in the tent still is able to be compared together. I will know more in another month or so. Definitely by my next harvest i will have a better idea of where i want it.

Amber trichomes are an indication that THC is converting to CBN, but it happens very slowly (about 5% THC conversion to CBN per week at maturity.) CBN is the sleepy cannabinoid that is responsible for the “couch lock” effect.

I know and its what everyone is used to. A little sleepiness towards the end of the high. I am not a big fan of this but my buddies are so, i want to grow some to their taste also…

I really only smoke to help with sleep, so I like 20 to 30% amber. It really helps a lot. The downside is that I have a really difficult time sleeping if I don’t smoke in the evening. I never smoke during the day anymore.

See… this is me also. I quite smoking during the day because the street weed i was buying would make me sleepy and hungry by the afternoon and i hated that. Thats why i was so worried about catching mine before any large amounts of amber started appearing. I am really curious how my recent harvest is going to be like. Time will tell…

How goes the harvest and cure (now, after another year of grow?

After a long cure it tuned out alot better aroma wise and potency wise. Not as harsh either but could still use more resins and density to the buds. They aren’t very dense and are like marshmallow and not very sticky but it gets me high. Gives me something to work on. More PK in flower should help. I need to learn how to dial it in better. . My feeding habits are deplorable.
