It is getting full but you still have a little room to work with. I even tied branches down to other branches when I’ve run out of room lol.
Your plants are going to be awesome however they end up being tied down

You might even consider taking Ppms up around 1000 at this point. Not sure how you run your fertilizing schedule exactly. 910 is an ok number too
I finally got my little girl up and going. I think you asked for a pic of her the other day
She’s got a long ways to go to catch up to you but her leaves are big and healthy
PPM’s were running around 1300 for most of veg, just recently started adding water with only dechlorinator and hydrogaurd. Added a couple of teaspoons of Maxigro yesterday because when I added water, ppm was too low. Was planning on doing reservoir change, and change to bloom schedule as soon as I notice flowers. Is this correct?
Oh yeah, I’ve been tying them to other branches the last few days. Getting really thick and running out of room. Having to layer them.
Are you going to run a journal on her?
I have a running journal going on her in the lab. Kinda hard for me two keep up with doing two journals but I’m going to try and quick journal it like I did here once the grow is over.
@dbrn32 being on a fixed income, it will take awhile to save up the money. Trying to get an idea of what I need. You had told me earlier that in order to replace my 1000W MH/HPS light with a led and get comparable light, it would need to have approximately 800w at wall. I’m thinking if I built one with 1,000w at wall this would be even better. I’m using a 4x4 screen and want good coverage. Not trying to lower my light bill, trying for better harvest. As always, your opinion is greatly appreciated
@peachfuzz got tired of trying to figure out digital timer without directions, so I bought a manual type. Only problem, it’s in 30min intervals. I’ve got it set to run 30 min every 3 hours (circulation pump). Will this be good? Thanks
Would be more like 600 watts to replace 1000 watt hps. Obviously one 600 watt light can be better than another even on diy level. Going with like 8 70-75 watt cobs would be a pretty good balance of cost vs efficiency. Doing 12 50 watt Cobs would be a more efficient light but cost more.
Pretty good option for getting a lot for your money and having simple build would be hlg-600 kit running about 80-85%
One of the things you’ll want to watch with going bigger, is that your plants have limits to how much light they can use. More light will get you more bud to a point. Once you start getting close to that point the amount of bud per amount of light starts to drop quite a bit.
Those work just fine… that’s what I use for my
Pumps as well…
The only thing that runs on digital timers is my lights and the fan that cools them… my power goes out all the time , so those are things that need to come back on and off without skipping a beat… power can be off for 3 days and the timers will still stay programmed… but I know exactly what you mean about them being a pain in the a$$ to setup… it took me a couple of weeks to get it right , I had to go out every day to make sure the lights came on like they were supposed to and every morning before work to make sure they turned off… it sucked , but that was 9 years ago and I haven’t had to set them since…
Grandaddy, don’t be afraid to prune a branch or two off. No different than if you weren’t doing a SCROG - you don’t want jammed up spots on your screen if you can avoid it.
That’s why I asked you, little buddy, cause you know all that stuff, I don’t.
No problem!
Therefore, to cover a 4x4 screen to cover for each light, what’s a ballpark price for the light.
That hlg-600 kit runs around $700. Doing something with cobs probably in the same neighborhood if you diy it. Buying built around $800 if you can get a pic-6. Otherwise $1000 plus for cobs.
The hlg-600 going to be a little more efficient, but it also pretty much needs a fan or two over the top above 80%. The one advantage you may have with cobs is that you run in an open room and with reflectors you may be able to keep a little more light on the canopy. Don’t think you could go wrong either way. Check them out and see if you feel like there’s an option that feels better to you. Happy to answer any questions too, so don’t be afraid to ask away.
heres what i have cooking in a 4x8 tent with hlg-550 v2 3000K soon to add another hlg-600H V2 3000K
Amazing scrogs man!
Happy anniversary! @Blasting
