I’m new can’t answer your main question but I have learned I think there is a strain to reduce the shakes. Good luck!

Hell of a great idea Thanks…This was supposed to be my retirement job but then life comes along and says fix this and do that.
Enjoy your retirement, especially your retirement job

If @retirementJOB recommendation does not help try this
It is a plugable usb and the mount screws onto a standard camera tripod. I upgraded the stand too. Pretty steady for an oldF…t

Thanks again… Now i need one of those extensions so i can get closer. Is it something i can buy or do i have to buy the whole tripod. i’m willing to buy the whole thing if it’s not too expensive, i’ve got to get some pictures on this forum in order to get help. Hope you bought it on Amazon. Don’t know if i need to tag you since i’m replying, @beardless Sorry about the close ups. Your plant is awsome

In the 2nd to last pic you have posted here, is that the dehu with flexible ducting on top of it?
No problem - this is amazon listing
I do use the extension to reach into the tent.
Yes and it works amazingly good, really surprised me when i just set it there and ran the other end of the duct out and the air was coming out, so instead of making something to go from the dh to the 6in duct i just moved the stack of duct on the top of the dh until very little hot air was going into the tent. That’s why you are having a hard time controlling the humidity in your tent. Let the dehu work like it is supposed too, remove the ducting .
Thank you the tripod you suggested is on it’s way. Hope you didn’t have to buy any adapters for your magnifier because i have the same one.

@Alfred69 just the aluminium stand in the picture. The flex arm that comes with the plugable isn’t stable enough to take the type of pictures that I wanted to take. It certainly isn’t critical.
