I have my tents setup in a utility closet and they share the space with our furnace. The furnace creates lots of fluctuation in the room itself, so it’s not exactly an option as a “lung room”. I have a portable ac unit in there, but find it just running constantly in order to cool the room down enough for the tents to draw in cooler air when needed. I’m trying to avoid rigging up some sort of contraption to connect a duct pipe to the ac output in order to pump cool air directly into the tent.
I was considering purchasing a smaller tent to house the AC unit, and then run a duct hose with fan from the AC tent to the grow tent to move the cool air.
Anyone ever try anything like this, or see any issues with giving this a try? Obviously, id still vent the ac exhaust all the way out of the house.
