Hello everyone!
this is my first attempt at growing cannabis, specifically granddaddy purple bubba Kush and pure indica. I have one of each outdoors on my deck in individual pots.
germination went well, seedlings fine and the plants are looking good I think. I pruned a little bit yesterday my question is should I continue pruning and how severely?
plants are approximately 4 weeks old.
sincere thanks for any replies!!!
Can you post a few photos please?
thanks much!
Wouldnt do too much to her at this point she needs those leaves. Let her ride for a few weeks just take stuff that might be touching the soil. Looks good.
Yep! I wouldn’t take anything off at this point in time. The plant needs as many leaves as possible right now. They act like little solar panel allowing photosynthesis to take place.
The plant has good air flow and looks to be healthy.
Give them a couple more weeks to fill out an let’s revisit this topic
Maybe go into alittle big leafing, larfing and skirting.
Wait to defoliate as long as possible, instead tuck and/or train leaves away from shoot tops they might be covering. If that doesnt work, I will cut individual fingers from leaves to let the shoot under them come out. Defoliate after flowering starts.
CORRECTION- defoliate after 2nd week of flowering.
thanks so much!
I wouldn’t prune or defoliate. Plenty of space in her structure for lighting and air
Buenos Dias Grow Sis, how’s things in the upstate
Sweet view and all good way down south
sounds good thanks very much!
Hello!
granddaddy purple and bubba Kush are approximately 30 in tall and 7 weeks after germination. I topped one plant and left the other untouched other than very little pruning. plants are flowering and I’m beginning to get some yellow leaves which are concern. I have been feeding them the regimen of ilgm fertilizers. my question is should I prune some fan leaves or let the plant be. any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated greatly!
