Hello all and thanks for reading this,
The seeds are all from the same sealed pack (autoflowers), I have harvested 4 of the plants (nothing to brag about weight wise), the 5th plant has tons of pencil size buds and has been in the tent twice as long (and not getting bigger), but here’s the even stranger thing, the leaves (even fan leaves) are just covered in trichomes. Is this a sign of a photoperiod? I’ve never seen a plant like this in over 3 years of growing. I have never grown a photoperiod plant before.
Thanks everyone.
Interesting. What is your current light cycle?
Ya dont get trichomes on Photo’s unless you flip the light cycle to 12/12, so i doubt its a Photo
Then again, as has already been asked, what is your lighting regime ?
The strange behaviour could be just down to this particular phenotype of the 5 autos
on for 20, off for 4. if nothing else I can always wait for the trichomes to mature and make edibles I suppose! Thanks.
I just thought of something… Maybe it cross pollinated from the other tent? I have a 6" hose connecting the two tents in case a fan for one of the carbon filters went bad. That might have been a bad idea… The lights are on for 20, off for 4. if nothing else I can always wait for the trichomes to mature and make edibles I suppose! Thanks.
I would switch to 12 on / 12 off. Autoflowers do weird things. It is almost acting like a photo that does not have quite enough dark hours and is revegging or stalling. Just a thought.
I believe I’ll set my old tent up when I get some free time and try that. Thanks.
