Next up is Acapulco gold.
Was a difficult decision but decided on them for next producer grow.
I just harvested some Acapulco Gold a few months ago and it had been 40 years…what an amazing buzz
for real? What breeder? Do you think it is close to late 60 early 70’s. Probably better given controlled breeding and source.
@Growmedic
I’m not sure how close to the 60-70s but the buzz was Phenomenal. I was gifted 10 beans from a grower/breeder that occasionally makes a stop by the community and the other spot you and I are on. I’ll share his info with you privately at the other spot
That would be great. I have been heavy into growing Indica strains and for the next one am wanting more Sativa. I have some Maui Wowie but some solid Gold would be like being a teenager again.
This exactly was how I was feeling. I’m the opposite and love Sativas and Sativa dominant hybrids. I have a stash of Northern Lights and Blue Berry that I smoke for sleeping
I ran two last year and wildly different phenos: one was short and bushy with a very racy high while the other one was a much larger plant with a more balanced high.
I have 4 or 5 half gallon jars & a few 1/4# grove bags of purple haze. I’d hate to run short. It is my wife’s daytime past time.
One of the few strains I haven’t grown…smoked my fair share though
I could never have afforded Apcopolco Gold or Sensmille back in the late 70s… So GOOD for you!!
I’m tracking down some Columbian Gold and found some beans but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. It was a treat to get the AG back in the day
Salivating Brother
You won’t be disappointed with Acapulco Gold. Very good smoke , buds were very sticky… Great buzz… happy growing
I believe that @beachglass has grown Acapulco Gold.
AG was great!! Great smoke, i think better than 70’s. I also did edibles from larf. Way past yummy. Very worth it.
Yes, acapulco gold and thai stick where my treats when i could afford it.
We are showing our age. No shame here.
GODDANG, @beachglass You’re growing like THAT???
You’re like the Pablo Escobar of cannabis!
No shame at all.
Every generation says it, but we grew up in the best era.
Imho.
