Think of Automarions like programs. You’ll set up the parameters for each of your various devices based on the situation of your grow in each Automation. Flip a switch and you can go from one to another.
Thats pretty sweet, so i set lights to on mode and set on and off times same as schedule was we’ll see how that works, ill have to mess around more with that for the fans also. Makes a little more sense now seeing how you have it set up. Thanks so much for the help
Anytime
Sorry, had to respond quickly, work getting in the way today lol!
To follow up, You can use various ways to turn devices on and off with this controller, its pretry sweet!
For instance, if you wanted to run a humidifer based on a predetermined VPD.
Fun to play around with, makes it easy to control your plants environment
Mine does the same. Analysis may isolate issue to mode switching or Software updating may be the culprit. Multiple triggers types and threshold levels can be set with potentially conflicting operations.
Good growing to you.
Good to know it’s not just me
Better to use phone app for controller settings. Pushing the button for controller mode changing can leave settings amiss. Also, too many modes being monitored can cause conflicts. ON/OFF/Auto
working fine. Cylcle and schedule all work independently but can trigger when software allowed.
Gazing authorized until problem solved, keep me posted, likewise.
So two day’s now and no issues with lights since setting them to automation, wish i figured out what was causing the issue on schedule but like what dave said various triggers and what not can definitely throw a monkey wrench into the works, at least i got everything working now thanx for the help
Turn all triggers off, except high temp and set desired threshold. When happy, add another.
Humidity and VPD is too wild.for my using. Temp is all I need.
@Zudnik, what settings are you using? Under PORT mode, set transition to PLUS 1.
Can you measure leaf temps for VPD calibration? Mine is -3degrees, usually.
Hope this helps
I actually did try all that and didn’t help even checked to see if controller needed an update. Also i don’t have any way to check vpd of leafs but did set to vpd to +2°and didn’t help either and i didn’t set transition those 2 settings are confusing as to when they trigger. So i have both lights daisy chained and set to automation and fans are set manually for now.i wonder … these lights are mars hydro not ac infinity im using ac infinity adapter to connect these to controller i wonder if it could be a compatibility issue? Now that i think of it
Do your lights make your hand hot at crown level?
Leaves transpire, provide cooling. IF too hot VPD is +, my VPD is always negative three to five, laser gun measured.
Cloudline 67 triggers at negative point 5 degrees F (below setting) and
Cloudline 69P triggers on number set.
Good growing to you.
24x7 fans need no controller.
temp controlled fan need controller. and set exhaust higher than intake.
HLG connects to Cloudline (as defined by HLG, works great).
VIPAR Spectras don’t. But work better than my prejudice may give China Cheapies credit.
All else fails, CLOUDLINE OUTLET CONTROLLER 75 or 79 will prevent lights from operating unless program controlled. IE power from wall, to 75/79, then 67/69/69P, and finally lights.
Double system control.
Lights are led so no they don’t get real hot might raise temps in tent 5-8 degrees and thank you for your time and input i greatly appreciate that:+1:
My LED lights will raise tent from 55F to 70F. No heat in lung room garage.
Even VPD zero offset will make controller more stable in operation.
Remote sensor location?
Cloudline temp probe are very sensitive, 1 inch height could be 1degreeF
Crown height and temperature is important.
I don’t recall ever having that happen. But I have on occasion set the lights to on or off in order to set the parameters for schedule ( how counter intuitive is that) only to forget to return to schedule when finished. Had me scratching me head and me arse simultaneously for just a bit.
I called them myself and they said some time around mid March. We shall see.
@Eternal1 thank you! Fingers crossed.
So yes , i thought i was fat fingering whilst stoned at first but it happened several times on me and i set it and forget it kind of person but definitely possible i messed it up several times thats why I posted the question could’ve been my settings weren’t right either
Yes, that is how it happened to me. Switching modes too fast for reading what setting got changed or fast fingers with slow computer. ALL mode takes precedence over individual modes. Fast flipping thru multiple functions and leaving one setting in wrong position. Morale, set it and forget it (12/12 plan)
my T3 humidifier finally arrived after 5 months. It’s blowing humidity fine except the display on the humidifier doesn’t work. It’s blank and I can’t power it on or off or make any adjustments ughhhhh!
It’s not connected to the controller, only the probe is plugged in.
