Ac infinity 69 pro controller

If you go thru this thread from the beginning you’ll find some helpful information, and some peeps have posted pictures of there settings so making it much easier to get it set up correctly  . Just make sure you use the app to set it up the controller itself is very klunky and not user friendly. Keep em growing growmie :metal: :beers: :+1:

You’ll never turn back; ACI has top shelf growing gear. Good buying decision, Growmie!

I built a bucket cloner/germinator today and used one of their sub pumps…waiting for the pvc cement to dry so I can test it.

Anybody here having issues with your Controller 69 Pro? Finished my last grow July 16 and am just getting reset after a little bit of life getting in the way of my growing. Cleaned my tent and all of my equipment and when setting my tent back up my controller is acting strange. I have only one grow on this controller so it should be fine but it’s not. When I turn it on it displays every function at the same time then goes into a countdown from 9 to 1 and then displays every function again and shuts down. If I unplug the power and replug it it will function as it should briefly and then shut down. I’ve contacted ACI and waiting for a response. Just wanted to see if there was some type of reboot or something that I’m not aware of. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried factory reset? I had an issie with mine losong wifi connection. I contexted them and they immediately shipped one out once i provided proof of purchase…

This may be caused by data corruption on the controller or app. To resolve this, please delete any controllers from the AC Infinity app then delete the app completely from your phone, including its data. Then Factory Reset the controller by holding down the menu+up+down button together. Then unplug the power from the controller and devices. After, please plug everything back to the way it was and connect to the app again.

Thanks! I’ll try that and see what happens.

Good to know, thanks.
Probably good to do annually or between grows.
Thanks.

I have the 79 outlet controller, and am happy with it. Today I noticed these strange dips in the history data log starting this afternoon. I have seen a very few of these before. Then I realized that earlier when cleaning up and tying down wires. I had tied the sensor wire to the output wire from one of the drivers. After separating these wires all was good again.

Strange happens and it drives me crazy, too.

@DEEPDIVERDAVE, actually Dave yours looks more like they are caused by actual changes on the sensor. Check out the rounded peaks and valleys in yours, and a change in one results in a change on another. I think yours are the result of something cycling.
I still have the same dips, but not nearly as many. These dips have a sharp bottom, and do not cause the other reading to react. I have noticed these increase when one of the 260 FRs are on, and the sensor cable crosses this driver’s output cable. Driver is remote mounted. I need may need to address sometime. May try to run the sensor cable through a grounded metal conduit just to see if it helps. The picture of is when my dumb ass tied the sensor cable to the driver outputs.

CORRECT, My 2014 purchased dehumidifier (and used ever since 24x7),does the cycles, but the blips are often not me and unknown.
I see my lights cycle, occasionally, when ON should be solid ON.
Suspect android butt dials controller or Fumble Fingered Bad Eyed Operator got a mode switch process wrong.

The 79 controller is very easy to program, and only about 4 steps. But I still manage to get it wrong more often than right.

Same to Dave!

Tried to do the factory reset but the unit shuts down before it updates. If I unplug it and plug it back in it will behave like it should work but then it shuts down. I contacted AC Infinity and they sent me out a new one. Haven’t set it up yet been using my old dumb controller. It’s good to have back up hardware in this hobby.

Learned this living on island or traveling for USN
Two or three spares get expensive, but re-assuring.

So it turns out that the controller is not the issue. Set up new controller and it behaved the same as the original. I initially thought that maybe the Molex to UIS adapter was the issue so I swapped that out and the controller worked. Unfortunately the adapter isn’t the issue either as when I scroll through the functions it will malfunction like it did. It is currently operating like it should after unplugging and plugging it back in but it gives me no confidence that it will continue to work properly. I’m wondering if there might be an issue with my fans control unit because the Controller 69 is powered by the fan. Gonna call AC Infinity and see if they can give me some help. I’ll update when I know something to hopefully help anyone on here having similar issues.

One of your electrically wired components may be the cause.
I know if my 69 Controller is de-energized on Port 1’s fan/power circuit, one of my lights and fans go to max (other ports?).
So power outages are another source of my grower nightmares.

@registereduser, My 79 is very simple to program. But when I first got it, and was programming from the controller itself. I would forget to switch to a different output before putting in the next set of parameters, and would have overlapping programming.
I would do the factory reset on one. Then program just one output, for just one function, and see if it works then. If it doesn’t work this would be good info to pass on to ACI.

Yes, our fingers work the screen, faster than the software records, then re-acts to new programming selections.
Android programming works well because my 5GHZ won’t find controller (2.4Ghz restricted).

My suggestion is like above and provide the 69Controller with a fan, electrically powered, always, at some level.
Then add other components, controlled only by singular functions.
DO not use Every possible “trigger” setting.
KISS, works best to avoid “trigger” interaction or multiple trigger conflicts.
Channel and Port (1-4) programming can be different (independent).
