About ready to give up. Can someone please diagnose this latest problem?

This just started yesterday

We need a little more I for gromie. Normally I would say classic wet feet, but your soil clearly looks dry.

Have you recently fertilized? Was it a hotter day than usual? Did you do anything different? Repot? New amendment? Prune or top? New light or fan? Broken fan?

Don’t fret and give up. :seedling: Young plants like that often bounce back well. If you grow long enough you will see much worse plant problems pop up. :eyes:

The light looks a little close to the plants maybe it’s getting too hot?

@noddykitty1
I started these indoor and have been hardening them off outside since I grow outside. Yesterday and today were very hot so after 5 hours I moved them back inside for a bit. I fertilized half strength Jack’s yesterday. I felt I had been over watering so I’ve only been watering every 2-3 days
People have been trying to help me but I’m so lost I’m about done

Honestly, drop em in a hole and plant them then. Stick to your style. Don’t baby them. Just plant them, water them once in the morning and walk away. Don’t worry about fertilizing unless they are still trucking along after august first.

Way better to do this than get burned out or frustrated. Honestly, if they die they die. I will personally send you some outdoor seeds if they die in the next couple days from doing what i am suggesting. I got your back. So you can replant them before the solstice.

Free your mind and the plants.

@noddykitty1 thanks brother for the help
We have a lot of deer around here so idk will deer bother plants? The bastards have ruined my veggie garden a few times
Maybe I will just plant em. I usually keep them in the pots when I put them outside for good

Well crap, deer= problems.

You can cage them with chicken wire or cattle fencing. Then the plant can grow thru it and the deer cannot totally nub it to the soil.

Something simple like this. And a scrap piece for a roof.

What have you done in the past? Are you relatively new to outdoor ganja too?

Just reread. You said pots.

Just do your usual is what I am saying. You got your usual routine. But I am not against releasing the plants. Let em go.

If the inside start is messing you up just cut it out at this point. Guarantee does not cover deer lol. :deer:

Just kidding, I would just send you double the seeds. Over plant like a mofo. You can always throw a few to the deer if you got too many.

@noddykitty1 I’ve only grown twice and was outdoors in 5 gallon buckets. I did the buckets so I could move them around when I needed to. We lived south of where we are now and I didn’t have deer issues
We had a place built in the woods and plenty of deer and occasionally a bear or two. I was going to keep them in the pots so I could keep them where the deer don’t graze. I’ve noticed the soil back here has a lot of clay and that’s a disaster

Elevated in pots sounds like a good plan. A pinch of dried clay sprinkled into your pots/buckets may be good to add. Clay is loaded w trace.

Got it, it’s a new place w new demands. Sounds like a fun place to live. Do you hunt? I would shoot me some plant eaters if I had to pick between them and the plants and I lived in the woods. Or drop out of a tree like ptsd Rambo with a Bowie knife and a crazy look. :zany_face:

Looking forward to watching your adventure.

I don’t want to step on the seed site at all. I just don’t want my advice to ruin your expensive plants. The ILGM guarantee does not cover that.

@noddykitty1 I forgot to say - what an incredibly kind offer of sending seeds
You are a good person brother

What kind of pots are you using outside

@plumbdand 3 gallon fabric

Are they black if so the direct sunlight sometimes can heat them up too much. The plant can handle the heat but the root system can get too hot and stress out the plant. Specially with young plants.

She just looks to me like the sun is giving it higher par then your lights, a little stress, follow @noddykitty1 advice and will be fine. Currently my tent is reaching 95°F and I’m in black 5 gal cloth pots. Mine are autos and only 3 weeks old roughly.

Just ride her out she gonna surprise you I bet.

@plumbdand yeah they are black. I couldn’t find another color. The site had tan but all sold out. What you are saying makes sense

@DanB thanks man. I hope they rebound. I let them dry a bit more and fertilized with some Jack’s last night. Slight improvement. Nit going to be much sun this week and high humidity. I guess I’ll have to watch out for mold right? You are off to a good start. I’ll keep an eye on your posts and progress

White cloth or towels or cardboard comes to mind. or you can dig some holes and put them in too keep them cool or transplant them directly in the ground. Also 3gal is too small for outdoor plants

@plumbdand I want to drop them in the ground but soil mostly clay here. We have some acreage but mostly woods and a lot of deer and limited sun. @noddykitty1 gave some excellent advice. I still have a guy in here excavating so can’t really put them in the ground. As far as the pots - I used 5 gallon buckets my first 2 grows. Yields weren’t great but decent for an amateur. Then I started reading how everyone recommended fabric pots and that 3 gallon was ok for an auto but I think you are right on the 5 gallon. I’m just so confused. So many different things to know. @noddykitty1 got it right. I wish I had a private spot to just plant them
So plants were going good until like week 4. Then they started clawing and just a few burnt tips. I don’t think the soil is too rich. Over watering? I don’t think? Under watering? Root rot? I’m definitely over thinking it just not sure what I’m doing wrong at this point? Thanks for your suggestions.

Hey buddy. I meant to do this yesterday but I was at work.

There’s an app called Hortus that one of the forum members developed. I can sense your worry and frustrations. Ill tag a couple folks and see if we can get you more input. Growing shouldn’t be frustrating. We all been there.
@Lostgirl @kaptain3d @Growmoredank anyone have any insight?

Unfortunately, I’m not confident enough. Maybe @Budbrother , @Low or @dbrn32 could chime in :thinking:

Kinda looks like boron def with the twisty, but no burn showing yet. Would say root issues, if overwatered or bound up. Watering with a dollop of molasses won’t hurt, and would add boron and other micros.

Only 18 posts. I’ll go up and read and not just look at last pic
