Put the rest of the plants under the net. Never done a Scrog before. Hope I’m doing it right.

I’m very excited to see how this all plays out.
Should be fun…lots of work for sure.

Set to ‘Watching’. I’m doing a single bucket hydro run in a 2 X 4 tent and the full spectrum of GH Flora series. Other than DKB which I’ll want to get before the very end.
I hope having multiple plants in one SCROG doesn’t get you into trouble. I like individual screens so I can futz with them and turn em around etc and if you have a problem you’ll be dealing with it in place. I could even lift it out and do a thorough tote scrub while in the screen.
I have @TDubWilly helping me with that on the other side. If it’s a huge headache…I’ll go to individual nets the next time.

You haven’t noticed that the silica makes stems a little more woody? In my experience the stems are less pliable and more prone to break while using silica, but I’ve never run hydro before.
Think: Celery
I only eat celery when it has peanut butter on it lol. Or maybe in chicken noodle soup.
Well that’s the way my stem material felt when in hydro: definitely higher water content to the stem.
I use silica as it also helps with protecting the plant from disease, mildew, and pests. You just have to plan around it as it were haha.
Getting any sleep, Daddy?
I’m sleeping fine, not sure about the wife lol
I used it in soil and it was great for the plants to get them to stand up. The stems right now are really easy to break.

I eat lots of peanut butter when I smoke weed that breaks like celery
I think what you have going is going to be a little bit of a pain but don’t let that discourage you, it will still turn out good.
One thing you want to notice is your screen is almost built to the exact same floor space dimensions that your plants already take up.
Normally it’s nice to have a screen that is larger than the plants existing foot print so you have extra room to grow horizontally.
Next time, if you wanna keep the same size screen, you might consider getting the plants into it when they are a little younger…or option number two would be to have a larger screen, put the plants into that larger screen at the exact same size they are now, grow them horizontally and cover them with a light mover
Like I said, just some suggestions. Your already a good enough grower that you will be able to adapt well on the fly
I’ve done all this reading of everyone’s journals and I took what y’all are doing with the net for granted. I need to go back and look at my bookmarks on this subject. I appreciate your faith in me. I think I can make it work. Next time I’ll know better

The key is to be able to work horizontally until sometime around the time your flipping to flower.
Whether your weaving, tucking, tying, pinning or whatever, you want to work horizontally until the flip.
At that point you have choices. If your screen has no room left then you can let things begin to grow vertical or if your screen has allot of room left you can keep growing horizontal right through the stretch.
But you wanna be able to work horizontal throughout veg
I switched the timers to 14/10 today, so 2 or 3 weeks max to the flip. They look ready to flip now to me. In soil, I would flip them about the same…about 2 more weeks. I better get to work on it tomorrow.

Sorry to hear it’s a rough day, but I bet those pills will help!
@TDubWilly also taught me about ScROG. I can’t do it that way now because they don’t get the net until light flip. I’m with tdub, your net is too small for CONVENTIONAL ScROG. But, who among us is CONVENTIONAL. You won’t get full benefits, but you improvise, adapt, and overcome. My net this time is too big, because I can’t do like I did before. I use to run a 48x48 screen for 1 plant
But you do gain a level canopy which is like money.
