8 weeks from flip

Tomorrow will be the first day of week 8 from flipping to 12/12 so im considering it to be the first day of flowering week 7, im growing wedding cake photos, using jacks 321 in promix hp, 3 plants in 5 gallon fabric and i feed every other day, 5 gallons of water with jacks, wedding cake can be ready in 8 or 9 weeks, trichomes are clear and cloudy. Im hoping chop day 2 weeks from now, today is the last day of nutrients from here on in plain ph’d water with slf 100 added, leaves are already fading and changing color I’ll add pics, my reasoning for no more nutes is for plants to start feeding on just whats in medium now and whats in plant itself and slf 100 will rinse any salts from medium (promix hp) for a smoother smoke, any objections? Lots of brown hairs.

No objections with your medium. Classic landing strategy with nutes.
Are you following the soft landing on fire method? Low temps and high light? Going to give my Widows this treatment

Personally I would keep feeding at 800-900 PPMs for a few more weeks. Realistically you may be at week 6 of flower if you consider a 2 week transition to flower and weeks 6-8 maybe 9 are bulking weeks and need the PK to fatten up :love_you_gesture:

My light has been at 75% all of flower stage, temps mid to upper 70 lights on 65 lights off humidity 40 lower 50 and now upper 30’s

I like that word bulking up so i wouldn’t have a problem with a couple which in my book is 2 more feeds so Wednesday morning i will start with no more nutes

Actually Friday morning no more nutes

Thanks appreciate it and there has to be enough nutes in medium and plant itself to carry it a week or 2, no?

That depends on what PPM/EC you’ve been feeding at and the run off PPMs/EC. I do a water feed the last week or 2 just to save on nutrients and the time to mix :love_you_gesture:

I’ve checked ppm of nutes and it was over 1000 one time but otherwise always around 970 and ph’ d at 6.0 give or take

Flowers look great. :+1:t2:

That’s a great number if that was the last run off. One way to tell if their appetite has slowed down and they’re nearing the end is the run off doesn’t decrease as much and the interval between feedings slow downs :love_you_gesture:

That was always the ppm of nutrients going in never check runoff

I check the tip of leaves see a tiny bit of nute burn so i figure plants are getting what they need

Runoff numbers are as important as input numbers. You can feed all the way or water only at last, never been able to tell a difference in smoothness either way. Only way to KNOW what strength to feed is to know what it’s using and what is building up in media….
