A little too close is better than a little to far away, IMHO.
Too close, if you are not burning them they will just grow stout with very tight node spacing.
Do you have an iPhone? Photone is a basic free app that will give you a ballpark reading of light levels.
Or since I have one I almost expect everyone else to have one too. That Green meter you stick in the soil.
Its center switch position is a rather sensitive light meter.
Having some kind of light level reading is helpful when you are adjusting both height and output levels at the same time.
They don’t look too leggy to me. If those were in peat pods like I use I’d be prepping to put them in their 3-gallon fabric pot of Coco, perlite, and soil mix.
Sprouts seem to be fine with the light that close but the temp under the light reached 90°f. I made sure the dirt was not dried out but that hig heat still concerns me. I will install an air conditioner tonight.
They are all looking just fine to me! Don’t sweat the small stuff, KISS it. (Keep It Simple Stupid)
That’s what the Army told me all the time KISS it!
Installing an AC unit doesn’t sound simple or cheap to me.
As I said, “I think your seedlings look fine”!
What media to you plan to grow in? Instead of AC installation, I’d prep for a mass transplant operation.
You could go into Solo cups next on the Gold Leafs, IMHO.
But the WWAs I’d go into the final size pot you want to grow them in.
Mine is in a 3-gallon fabric pot and is doing well in that size pot.
Someone said “Autos seem to sense the size of the pot you put them into and grow to meet that size”.
Transplanting the Autos from the starter into 2-5 gallons fabric pots is a worthwhile task now.
It takes a lot of work preparing your grow media, whatever it is, to fill ten 3-gallon pots.
I am liking a very light and fluffy Coco mixed media to grow in now. It is really easy for them to establish their roots in that stuff compared to Organic soil/Compost etc. I also had issues with seedlings when my soil mix was too hot with nutes for them. Growing in soil is for outdoor grows, IMHO.
Indoor grows are best done hydroponically, again IMHO.
I’m looking at Autopots or some other kind of automated watering system for a Coco media.
Like this:

I think your plants will survive the heat, but may not survive a poor transplant transition.
Other cheaper less automation capable pots are here:
Counter intuitive cannabis heat info: they can grow in temps above what you got now as long as they also have elevated humidity levels to go with the increased heat.
If you mix up a bunch of wet soil/Coco media, fill 10 pots with it and transplant your WWAs.
Those pots of wet/moist soil media should raise your humidity level in your grow room.
If it were me, I’d spend my $ and time getting the WWAs transplanted now and consider AC later.

I planned on growing in Fox Farms Happy Frog Potting Soil.
I looked at hydroponic systems the other day and I do want to transition to that method in the future. I am so green to this, I want to keep the first couple of grows simple, or at least this one…
I have a bunch of 5 gallon buckets with a ton of holes drilled in them. I plan on using them. I have some #2 crush that I was gonna put in the bottom of the buckets to help with drainage, about 2 inches worth.
I’m reading all the posts I have time and energy for. My job is demanding.
OK, that potting soil is fortified with nutes and some seedlings have issues when transplanted to this. It is also quite expensive to fill 10 pots with 40+ gallons of this stuff! You can mix this soil with Coco and perlite for a fluffier, cheaper, soil media to transplant into.
Good advice!
Yeah just prepping 10 buckets with already prepared soil media is a shit ton of work by yourself. Especially in high summer heat! I’m old, fat and got a bad heart. Prepping 10 buckets by myself in the heat would likely take me at least 5-7 days. I’m sure I’d to too hot sweaty and dirty before getting 2 pots done and have to quit to cool off and clean up in the shower!
What r u doin to prep said buckets?
Clean them, clean rocks etc for drainage level, prep and cook Coco fibers with Cal/Mag solution, mix up Coco/Perlite/super-soil, shovel it into all those 10 buckets, etc.
Buckets are not my favorite pots for plants. I’m liking these much better:

You are gaining your own experience with higher temps and your favorite plants.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure from my personal experiences with seedlings they will be fine.
Supposed to be over 100° tomorrow… I worry too much. Installed this. Not pretty, but it will do. In set it to 78°.
Caught a dope muncher. Thank you @grizZz you were right! It was lounging right under a leaf of the plant it was munching on. It was removed. Hopefully it will not effect the plant too much.
Leaves seem a little droopy to me. I was thinking I may have over watered them.
@Budz mentioned they should be transplanted for more room. I was wondering when I should move to the 5 gallon buckets.
One has a wonky leaf.
Thoughts?
Leaves say they need room. Medium is super dry, I do see what would appear to be overwatering. But it’s literally a room issue. You need to transplant them today/tonight.
My 9 day old sprout that got knocked over by the puppy, so lost a days growth to healing. See how more room for roots means bigger plants?
3.6 gal pot.
Meaning this plant is only two days older than yours. One of those days was spent healing.
Getting it done! Was using Fox Farms Happy Frog Potting Soil. Garden center only had Fox Farms Ocean Forest Potting Soil. Good experiment at least…
Light hight from dirt is 23" and running at full power.
***Should I be running at full power?
Do I need another light?

Good morning yall. I was hoping I could get some opinions and advice. This may be a long winded post.
All plants were planted in the sprouter thing on 8/5.
All were in Fox Farms Happy Frog Potting Soil (FFHF).
All sprouts were transplanted to 5 gallon buckets on 8/14. 3 of them are planted in the FFHF, the remaining were planted in Fox Farms Ocean Forest Potting Soil (FFOF). The reason for this was no one had any FFHF left. There had been some drooping of leaves on 8/13 and some advice was given to transplant to bigger growing receptacles ASAP…
