7 days drying. Now curing, but nervous about bacteria and mold

I dont know if i harvested too early, and i started the curing process a day ago. will my bud continue to dry if i leave the jar open for a few more days? i grew indoor, and its curing in the tent, which has 2 fans and a small dehumidifier. i dont want to cure wet bud.

Do you have any small humidity meters you can stick in if not you can cure with integra packets to be on the safe side

If they feel too wet don’t jar them yet!

i just checked the humidity inside the jars. all 4 are around 55-60% RH

I closed and shook each jar to see if it sticks or moves freely. all seem to stick. will i develop bacteria and mold if i continue to leave the jars open, shake, and use a small dehumidifier so it can dry more before i fully cure it? what is the proper way to continue drying my buds before actually curing?

If it’s 55-60% in your jars then you’re in the cure zone. You shouldnt have any mold to worry about. Just open jars a couple times a day to exchange air and close them back up. Do that for the next couple weeks.

What Bobby said.

You’re actually a little lower than I prefer on the rh, but not bad. You shouldn’t have to worry about mold or rot. Just remember to burp them.
