7.5 foot tall indoor auto?

Same for me. I like water (DDD).
The "Auto pots- "(AC-Infinity self-wicking), are nice, but need regular cleaning.
Have some and they are great as drip pans (3 or 5-gal bags fit well).

Making my Autos, shorter, with @CoyoteCody and Ebay listing for plant benders.

So I’m pretty sure I stunted the plant over the lack of water/nutrients. It’s been drinking again at the rate of about .5 gal a day.

About 75 percent of the pistols turned brown and started curling in so I checked with the microscope. I was expecting another 3 weeks, but from my very limited knowledge I would say a week. What do you guys think?

Real soon, if not now.
Wait a week to insure 30/70, maybe.
Take a tester bud for buzz testing.
So many possibilities…
Looks good, but early hurts more than later.

Yeah I’ve done this in the past, I really want to avoid that.

How do you do this? I mean to be able to dry and smoke it to see without it taking forever.

Cut a piece and place on light frame.
It will dry in a day.
Good smoking?

Good idea, I’ll give this a try. I wasn’t sure if that type of dry would lower the potency drastically or not.

Harsh, probably, but should have some kick, we hope.
Its only a test for the grow library of learning.
Share your results, thanks.
Enjoy, responsibly.

I found the “guide” for my microscope and looked at this again.

I know I have read that the sugar leaves will amber before the buds. I can’t tell the difference up this close.

Just waiting on the “sample” bud to dry out.

I don’t know I just have a gut feeling it’s too early. Maybe this was due to the drought it experienced, I’m not sure.

Once you see baby sites with balls of pistols growing, how many weeks is it usually after that? 4-6 weeks?

8-10weeks after the first couple weeks of transition, but all depends on the kind of high you want. Nice pics i still cant get clear thrich shots

Some naturally run longer tho

Very harsh and has an odd taste but yes definitely had some kick. It almost seemed like a 50/50 of body/head.

Over the last 2 days the buds have gotten more dense and it has practically stopped drinking.

It’s tough but I use one of those wifi microscope things. I still find it difficult to differentiate the leaf/bud that close.

That is a part I am confused about, so a grow should take roughly 12-14 weeks including veg or 8-10 in total?

Grow length (or days in flower) is dependent upon grow environment and provided support, not published numbers.
My seedlings grow slow. My Veging takes forever. Cold temps, always.
My first auto grow (currently) gave flower pistils formation evidence at 5-weeks from seed drop (in water). First grow with new soil, learning soil.
Some of my Autos are under stress and others doing well.
Fortunately I was experimenting and found the difference cause.
Soil was “too new/fresh” and not fully prepared (full mix with rinse).
Learning, still.
Now, I question how long they will continue to flower and build up the colas.

Right, that’s kind of along the lines of my experience. Once I see the pistols start to emerge, within 2 weeks I have buds. 24 days ago this plant was only showing pistols for about 2 weeks. right now it would be at about week 9 from seed, which is the trich pictures above. Being in winter, the room is staying around 60-75F for lights on/off. I have a humidifier keeping it at least 50%. If not, it would be in the 30’s.

My tents stay 80-84F lights ON and 65-70 for lights OFF.
RH 40-70 and controlled with dehumidifier (PNW Wet season).
Air moving and air exchange (both) equal to tent cubic volume

Only gets better with grow and cure, we hope.

8-10weeks would be for flower. Total time is dependent on how long you veg. I see a lot of harvests reqdy around the 8-9 week of flower mark(skipping the first 2weeks of transition) but some just naturally take longer. Also if your wanting a couchlock high thoes harvests tend to take long as you wait for way more amber in ur trichomes

I went ahead and harvested this one. It didn’t get water for over a week and that’s when it started turning amber. It appeared to start shooting out more pistols, but what was done was done so I pulled it.

After trim and stem removal it is 21 OZ wet. Wonder what that will end up being dried? I’m guessing about 4oz from this auto I goofed on. One of my bigger harvests for sure.

@Highgrow

Thanks, hopefully yours goes well too!

It ended up being 7.1 OZ once dried. This thing would have been a monster had I not made a mistake with it. Now it’s curing though so we’ll see.
