When they first announced the 420 sale a few days ago, I picked up 20 of the Oh My Thai Fem Auto only available and 20 of the Grand Daddy Purple Photoperiod. No room currently in the outside garden or hydroponics, but there will come a time…

I picked up some of the Gold Leaf seeds a few weeks ago. I lost a few in germination, but ILGM is supposed to be replacing them soon. I have 1 that has gotten super huge in my outside hydroponics setup and 1 in the garden soil that is much smaller. I’ll grab some pictures to post tomorrow, but I wasn’t happy with the germination rate. Excited to see what they do.

Here are the pictures that I talked about. I’ve been experimenting with mixed results in the rockwool cubes. Made sure to PH down them for 24 hours prior to putting the seeds in. That picture was taken March 23rd. I put one in soil and one in the hydroponics outside on that same day. Using a mix of Dr. Earth Soil and Sun-Gro Organic Garden soil along with a Dr. Earth Organic Tomato, Veg, and Herb fertilizer per recommended dosage. Always very successful garden area. In the hydroponics setup, I’m using the Masterblend 3-part dry mix. Started at 1/4 strength and am now up to full strength with 6.1 PH and around 900-1100 PPM. What a difference to be sure. But it’s all an experiment anyway. I love to do the side-by-side comparisons to see what works best for me at the beginning through the harvest. Even though the hydro seems to start better, the largest plant I ever had was in the soil. Hope you enjoy the pictures everyone.

Sorry about your luck. Haven’t had an issue with gold leaf. One of my favorite strains. They will definitely make it right. If you don’t feel they do, let us know here so we can run it up the chain. Gold leaf gave me one of my Bud of the Month wins

Thanks BobbyD. I’m not worried, I’m sure that it will all work out. That’s a beautiful beast you have there. Well deserved for the BOM award. Glad that I had a couple of them make it and am excited to see how the soil versus the hydroponic does. I appreciate your input.

You have a grow thread going? I’d like to to see how the hydroponic goes as well. I’ve only grown it in soil.
