You stab your arm on hardwood setting and if itâs 98% moisture than its calibrated properly.

I hope you get this weed dried pretty soon. Just watching the cluster f* youâve got going on has me up a 2am walking circles in my kitchen waiting for the lights to come on so I can cut some more buds. You got me nervous. With the issue you have going on , you have to get it dry. You donât have the luxury of a slow dry anymore. Leave it on the tray til its dry. Danggit HotRod , I sure hate to see you going thru thisâŠguess Iâll go check the drying room again⊠you might want to rethink allowing the remainder to ripen. Sometimes its best to âget what you can while the getting is goodâ. I would assume there are spores circulating around pretty freely by this point. I know I would be considering my options. This is but another of the many trials and tribulations of a Pharmer. Anyone who hasnât experienced it , hasnât grown much pot. Best of Luck.

If nothing else crazy happens maybe i wont loose anymore. I really got in there last night and broke it all up so it could dry. Alot of the moisture was gone from the 2 day hang dry, normally by day 5 i can keep it lit lol. Its gunna be alright man, i can live with a 10% loss if the buzz is worth it

I donât want to see you lose any more. Sure sorry youâre having this issue. All you can do is stay vigilant. Its really good that you saw what was going on . It could have easily been far worse. Keep the faith.

It sucks but i know i did what i could for her lol. I wish id had yall to talk to when i was growing outdoors . I dang near cried a time or two walking up on whole plants just eat up with it. I didnât know what to do to try and fix it, id loose 50% of my harvest every year it seamed.
I had an idea this morning i hope helps to move things along, i stired the buds up and got them all loose again. They arnt trying to stick together as bad this morning. I added a paper bag liner to the pans, im hoping that will help to pull out what moisture is left. That little moisture tester is supposed to be here tomorrow. Maybe that will help get me to the finish line without anymore blowouts.
As far as the rest of the plant, the next layer is ready to harvest, i was just trying to get these buds to bags before i did anymore trimming. Hard for me to do it during the week with work.
Edit: RH has dropped 5-10 % sice adding bags currently 75% lung room RH is at 59%

I havenât used paper yet on this dry. I sometimes put the bags in a low heat oven for a couple minutes to dry them out thoroughly. They suck the moisture out then . Hows your outdoor RH ? Mine totally blows right now 97%. Real struggle to keep things even close to right. Iâm sure rooting for you Brother.

Outdoor RH is at 90% here. Ive got the fan on the central unit turned to manual so its constantly circulating air today. Set to cool and 70°. That usually keeps the lung room at around 68° and 50% Rh so 
.
I feel better about it this morning, they arnt as squishy and arnt trying to clump together as bad. It would be awsome if all the hygrometers were in the 60s when i get home tonight.
Youd have a time keeping it lite but you could almost smoke it now lol

I put paper under mine when drying on a tray.

I use beer flats, you can criss-cross them in a tower of weed if you have 7 or 8 trays! Takes up little space and works well.
These arenât stacked, but were when put in my office to dry out more. And just put an empty one on top of the stack.

Something caught my eye in the HID crop awhile ago and sure enough a chunk of budrotâŠI would have expected it more in the LED crop as its more confined soâŠEdward Scissorhands mode. I already had a plant hanging I cut yesterday so its full on harvest mode now.

@RightAway we both got caught slippin lol. Hopefully your is contained to that cola. Mine was the 3 biggest colas in the tent. But those were the 3 with the most light damage. In the future at the end of the stretch i may cut anything thats super tall compared to the rest of the canopy.
I sure hope my little bags work out. RH was creeping down this morning but it was still in the 70s. I was thinking the paper bags had to be better that just laying in that metal pan. And unless my wife changed something before she went to work the vent in that room should be circulating non stop.
