I am not a regular on this site - though I feel like one as I’m on here frequently acquiring as much info about this art as I can.
I consider myself still an inexperienced grower, only having 2 P4P “water only” grows to my credit. My 1st grow relied heavily on the knowledge & expertise of countless members of this group, talking me off many edges I created along my way. My 2nd attempt I tried the same path, but hoped to manage it more independently, and with less advice and direction. Both grows produced decent results in relation to my expectations.
So now I am beginning another adventure, this time using different medium & nutrients for the 1st time. And because this will be a new experience I’m hoping I can call upon this community again for assistance and probably assurance as well from time to time.
This grow began 3/29. I dropped 5 Seeds for a 48 hr soak before planting in FF HF in solo cups. Tent conditions are steady @ 72-75F & 35%RH. I am currently running light 24/7 @ 50% pwr about 18” above cups. I’m doing this as an assist with maintaining temps. My tent is in my basement, and we’re still a little cool here in the Midwest.
I prepared soil & solo cups and germination from info I learned here by following instructions explained by @Hellraiser throughout his GG grow - except the 48 hr soak. He recommended 24hrs.
So, the girls & I are on our way. My intention is to experiment with various training techniques with a few of them. There will no doubt be casualties. I’ll be using 3 & 5 gallon fabric pots for final pots. Some seedlings will go directly to final pot, with others being transplanted along their journey. I feel like this will be a good way to learn hands on some things I have resistance to.
