You really don’t need that one the one head one does fine.
Watching your new thread.
It’s this your first time on fogponics @MAXHeadRoom? Sweet setup to man!
I considered this for awhile, I know you can measure ppm of your water, but I was always curious if the exact same ppm was in the fog as was in the water. Is there a way to measure ppm of the fog to see if the ppm stays consistent as the water goes from a liquid to a gas?
You could collect a sample of the fog and let it condense back into a liquid, then measure the ppm. Actually the water is transformed into tiny water droplets so the nutes should stay in the water. If the water was turned into steam then the water molecules would separate from the nutes. I never did any testing on this, but it seems logical.
You can not use organic nutes with this type of system. You have to use nutes that are compatible with hydro systems.
@TDubWilly
Hey I’m watching and looking good so far. I like the design of your lights and that’s going to be something similar to my 4x4 tent when I set it up. May I ask what are your deminsions for the light frame?
@MAXHeadRoom its so awesome to see you popping different strains and their very different characteristics! Very cool. Where did you find out how to build an awesome fogger like that! I would love to see you make a DIY thread for everyone here, that would be cool. Otherwise I will just search the net. But job well done man, the light you rebuilt looks great too, it will have much more penetration in the center of your foot print. Good job bro, I am following and learning along your adventure! Happy Growing my friend
Outside dimensions are 30" x 24" The board spacing is 6" on the short axis and 8" on the long axis. This will light a 36" x 30" SCROG.
If you scroll up there is a link to the thread when I first built it. The idea came from a youtube video which is posted in the thread.
@AmnesiaHaze
Do you think that size would light a 4x4 tent scrog. I’m trying to figure out a nice size frame to put my 4 QB BOARDS in and centered in the tent
My light puts out 500 watts, so for a 3 x 3 I have 55 watts per square foot. A little over kill. But the same light in a 4 x 4 will only have 31.25 watts per square foot. A little shy of recommended.
The 288 and 304 boards are 11.25 x 6.83. But to calculate light spacing we will use 11 and 7.
So take you total length (48) subtract the length of 2 boards (22) then you have 26 inches of open space. Then there is the space between the lights and the space from the light to the wall. So divide the 26 inches by 2 and you get 13. this would be the spacing in between the lights. Then you would have a 6.5 inches space on either side of the light
Then do the same calculations for the short side.
Heres a pic
This will center each board in a 2 x 2 area.
The frame would be 35 x 31
You may want to consider another 2 boards for that size area
So are you saying get another two boards to add to the 4 I already have for that tent?
Or what if I got on extra board to make it five
I know there are two types of humidifiers, ultra sonic and one other one, I don’t remember the type. But if you use tap water on one it clogs up all of my filters because the salts from the tap are still in there, the other type of humidifier I don’t think will release as many salts into the air as the ultra sonic…
…
I know a fogger machine company will make it right where you will keep your nutrients in the fog, i just always wondered if there was 900 PPM in the water will there be 900 PPM in the fog or will it be 750 ppm in the fog…
No biggie, I was just curious. Super cool setup dude
yes 6 boards that would give you 47 watts sqft
i used distilled water and then added nutes. The company claimed that you can use this product with nutes, so I assumed that they stayed in the water.
I grew 2 plants through flower with these foggers so I’m pretty sure the nutes get in the fog
@MAXHeadRoom at the molecular level, and dealing with atoms, yes the nutrients are dissolved in the water. Fog is just 100% humidity with the dew point in favor of producing the clouds we see.

WEEKLY UPDATE
All the plants have adjusted to the fogger now.
Roots are going crazy like they always do in this system.
I got my bud of the month seeds and had to pop one. and also a GL which will be used to learn mianlining.
This GL grew this much in one day. I was amazed.
Besides that I got my RO system installed this week
40 gallon stash so far. You only get 2 and a quarter gallons of water before the tanks goes dry.
I have also been busy making the remaining oil for my RSO treatment. I have lots of pictures to post at a later date on how I make the oil.
Oh one last thing, I had this deformed plant. Its either a Bubble Gum or AK-47
Anyone seen anything like this before. It looks like its starting to grow normal on the top again.

Great update @MAXHeadRoom - I always look forward to seeing your set up, gives me goals.
Progressing along great bud!
