So around 32 days ago my autoflowers got their hammerheads iff and offically began their journey, ive made several mistakes which im certain have also impacted their growth such as
Jeez man try that with 5 of the watermelon man lol
Also thought about it I did 7 things wrong
1.didnt bury seed deep enough
2. Didnt position light low enough during the grow.
3. Didnt have light on high enough entire time
4. No airflow or fan for rhe first 2 weeks of life.
5.temperature was to low aroujd 3 weeks of the plants life.
6. Water scedual was messed up for 3 weeks of plants life.
7. Gave nutrients to early at around 2 weeks, it was transplant shock not nutrient deficienties.
8. Didnt use coco coir which improves the grow amazingly over soil.
With all that being said we are entering 5 days into flower. My best one is 9 inches tall. And the other 2 are around 6 inches. They are showijg no recent growth development despite all the changes leading me to believe i also got unlucky in the genetics department. Is there anythijg else i can improve on? Temps are at 81 or 82 with humidity at a rven 50 for flowering.
I don’t think it’s genetic problems I think if you total all of your mishaps early on resulted in stunt/runt of the plants. Seedling through veg is crucial to have 0% issues as autoflowers are unforgiving at this point.
This plant is 25 days old
On the bright side, runts/stunts (whatever you want to call them) normally turn out to be total fire in the potency department. I can tell you that from experience.
The best you can do is feed them properly, keep your environment dialed in, and your light position correctly to give them the Fighting Chance to continue without issue.
Best of luck
Thank you i appreciate it, from your experiance do you think an ounce is to much to ask for from these 3 plants at this point in time?
Oh my runts do between 1 and 2 oz
Thatw good news at least ill get maybe a couple ounces from everythijg then, im growing jack herer so thats good news. Thank you so much
Like parenting, a never-ending involvement.
Learning is equally (or more) important, too.
I am currently using this mix
Good growing to you.
I appreciate the information ill look into it thank you
Autos need the best start you can give them. If they are recovering or just not getting what they need before flower, chances they won’t boom and really produce the way they should.
Heres a pic of an autoflower at 1month or rather on iys 5th week sorry. Just showing you what they can do if you yreat em right and this is bagseed
@Darksoul1200
Heres a few at 5 weeks into flower
Just giving an example of what ylu can do
Yup I have a runt she’s about 6 in tall but the smell coming off that girl is insane
I agree when i get some more seeds ill get em from ilgm to give me the best possible start as well. And starting in final pot ill make sure to update my progress with all my grows and be the best i can be
Dont be sorry it dosent demotivate me, actually motivates me more to see whats possible im glad thats possible it means if i do it rivht i also can accomplish that.
Also is that where you got it from bagseed?
Thats awsome to know, at least even a small plant can pack a good punch im so tired of dispenceries shorting me weed cause its not government enforced and they can get away with it.
Yep,found it in a piece of bud. Didnt even know it was an autoflower until it was flowering on its own accord at 18/6 light schedule so i went 24hrs straight and it still kept bumpin
I spent 14gs last yr at the damn dispensary so i feel ya and they also cheat us so much
Also stick with this forum bro, its helped me tremendous no joke
For sure the diapencerys i primarily just buy prerolls or packaged products from somewhere else where i know im absolutely getting what i paid for. And as for fourms yeah its pretty insane tbh, this is one of the best places to discuss growing and it has helped me immensly already. When i accidently killed my first 3 foot photoperiod plant and barley got any flower most people would wuit but im glad i didnt its one hell of a joirney
And fun to see the results of your efforts
