Looks and sounds interesting. I just havent looked into them much. Im sure it will do the trick though.
Oh great, that second pH test kit was supposed to have some kind of powder to add to it? I had nothing else to add to it… so that was a bust lol… yep… time to just go enjoy the fruits of my labor.
I’m over it for today.
Oh it does! I always loved a water bong too. But i really like how clean and easy this thing is. I’m old now… I’m not working my butt off to relax lol
Unfortunately i still am. Ill have to look into this. Im pretty content with my bong but always willing to at least try someones advice. Been times ive been like yeah that is a lot better. Thanks for showing me this.
I’m an old dog but I’ll try some new tricks every now and then
And your welcome… and did i a you’re in Indiana? I am as well lol
Enjoy your fruits. Oh so satisfying…
Yes! Maybe we’ll get to join the movement… some day. Probably be the last ones.
Dont use test strips or anything that requires adding powder they are not accurate enough, buy yourself a ph meter like this.
Yeah i didnt think addding a couple if 40 watt LEDs was gonna do more harm than good but in retrospect im growing in a 27"x27"x63 grow tent so in that small a space it kind of makes sense that it was too much im sure i could use them if i turned my main light down some but for the rest of this grow im keeping them off
Next questions… So I was at about 20 weeks with these doggone Purple Punch autos and the trichomes said it was time … So I chopped the tops and left the bottoms to continue.
But when I was hanging them up I noticed the strange seed looking things. It’s what always bothers me with all my other grows so far. What the heck are they and what do I need to do about them?
Are there seeds inside those sacs? Pop one open and see. If so, it looks like she hermied (self pollinated) on you. This is caused due to some unknown stressor along her grow. Free seeds as they will be feminized. Best you can do is save them for future plants. Pick them out and enjoy the rest. It happens to us all at some point. Some plants hermie more than others.
I’ll check em tomorrow… I had some kinda problem for, the leaves yelled then turned back to three point again. I want feeding them correctly I don’t think, after I got straightened out they started looking better and they started growing healthier looking down at the bottoms again. That’s why I just cut the tops off, so the bottom stuff that was still starting to grow could have a chance to keep going. Then I saw those seed looking pods and it kinda threw me. But I have gotten those on my other strains I’ve grown to.
Anyway I’ll check it out in the morning I’m too lazy to go down two flights of stairs right now lol
Well at least you have a direction now that you may know what has caused the issue. Maintaining pH and correct levels of nutrients along with consistent light intervals each day will all reduce the chances of them to hermy. I had one of mine do this on my last run. I blasted them with potassium one feeding and changed the light schedule drastically overnight, i think is what caused my issue. I would guess by looking at your picture, youll have some seeds in some of those sacs though. Keep me posted, hope this helped.
