If your growing on a budget id say ditch the bag seeds, because in reality you have a 50/50 chance of getting a male… if you do get one, thats a month or so of light/water/nutrients gone into something you have to rip out, and start all over again. and even when you start all over, still a 50/50 chance of being a male. Each to their own but id suggest buying some feminized seeds (this site has some great genetics) so that way you know you can put all your effort into something that WILL give you buds 100%. not 50/50 chance hoping for the best

Yes make like a horse shoe. And lightly pin it down. Don’t put her under the soil.
