350r would be perfect. The California Lightworks would be ok too. I’d go with whatever is less expensive.

Have you looked into Migro? The Aray is built for a 2x4

i looked at that, too. i’m trying to shop on amazon w/ gift cards and they don’t sell the DIY kits there. they have the 350r tho.

I was thinking you were taking about the California Lightworks with the adjustable spectrum. It’s the lesser expensing expensive solar extreme you’re looking at.

In that case, the 350r for sure

I Think HLG had a discount code that can be used on Amazon … I’ll look around to see if I can find it for you.

Without a doubt, HLG all day long and twice on Sundays.

I’ll never buy another grow light unless it has HLG or ChilLed on the packaging.

A quick Interwebz search will lead you to a discount code. I found 3 when I bought my light.

Look at their PAR efficacy. It’s not as good as HLG. I do like those Migro designs better
though. I think they look more cutting edge, they just need to improve on the lighting effectiveness.

Your Prolly want to get @dbrn32 to throw his $0.02 into the Grow mix.

HLG are awesome lights! I just got bad advice to add so I will stop here.

Of the stuff listed, definitely get the hlg-350r. It is slightly bigger than you need for 2x4, but the dimming option will allow you to dial down for efficiency or up of you want to push the plants hard. It’s going to give you the best performance in your space of models listed.

Thanks to all for the feedback. I know there are literally hundreds of options and thousands of valuable opinions but I tried to keep it simple with my choices. Looks like I know what I’m getting!

Plants look green and healthy, nice job! They will definitely appreciate new light when you get it.

Hung the new light yesterday. I started the intensity at halfway and will ramp up over the next week. I wish it was gauged in some way.

If you pick up a kill-a-watt meter you’ll know exactly what your wattage is.
