Ok, been a lil over 2 weeks since my last update, But I’ve ran into 2 issues 1 of which I believe I may have already made the change to fix, another (as shown in first picture) I have no clue of. I have 3 or 4 leaves showing signs of possible munching or maybe just growing into my tie ties maybe? I went through the plant last night and seen no bugs or anything. Awaiting on nutrients in the mail currently cause some of the leaves did start to show deficiencies. another issue I spotted are some of my leaves have twisted, I have a strong belief it was cause I turned the fan up 1 speed cause it wasn’t like this before I did that, turned it down last night. Temps havent changed, staying around 70*-72* inside the cabnet with a humidity of about 48-50%. Still trying to get her to stretch out a lil bit cause the nodes are still pretty close to eachother so the plant is a good foot away from the lights currently.
Package came in the mail! Got 1 pint of each GH FloraGro, FloraBloom and FloraMicro. Now… No BS question… What next? On day 42, getting bushier by the day lol. I don’t wanna shock the plant, I currently water it through 16.9 oz bottles of tap that sit out open over a few days, I did read on the bottle about checking pH, and I’ve been reading up on it, Just haven’t got any test strips yet, but going out tomorrow and finding some, Will ones from Walmart work to check water pH? Also looking at alternatives for pH up and down kits.
You do a 14/10 on veggie state?
Get some food grade de and sprinkle it on soil and girls for those munchers. Kill em now before they eat your girls.
Yes, I have been on 14/10 since the beginning of my current grow. Seems to be working well and I’m saving a few $$ on electricity on the lights! @Laurap
Great info. Living in Texas it’s been almost impossible to keep an 18/6. Will be starting more girls end of September and doesn’t cool off here till mid October
I am very interested in watching your progress. I am doing my first grow now, and it is a dwarf plant. I am a little intimidated by the pictures off all the amazing looking plants. I think your looks very nice. The pics come out nice. I had to adjust the light on mine many times, even though I thought the top one was far enough away- and going by the directions, but I had to listen to my plant, and it said too close. She is doing much better now. Take a look at my dwarf if you get the chance. I will be following your progress. Keep up the nice work!
Been a few since I updated, but just a few days ago. It finally showed sex and its a girl! 2 bag seeds now that I’ve gotten lucky on lol.
Looking good!
So far so good! 9th week now, 5 weeks into flower.
One question though, I did some reading and read something about bud spots that aren’t getting light taking up the energy for the others, then spotted this just the other night.
Would it shock the plant to cut these off to stop growth from here? There too much of a canopy of leaves for them to ever get any light.
Since no one has mentioned it, I’ll veg my next grow at 16/8… So there!!!
