Short answer is yes
Yes, no difference
The living soil amendment OP is using comes in photo and auto varieties, I used both on 1st grow (2 photos and 2 autos) with Roots Organics original, worked well doing bottom 1/3 method. Added cal mag and recharge as needed, then some bloom nutes for fear of depleting the NLS (poorly managed plant timing/spatial requirements during my first run!)
Also took an outdoor clone from start to finish with nothing added aside from an initial watering with a tsp of Recharge.
Update on my garden so second week in flower (6th day) they look happy and healthy I think
Got some pics

Have you ever tried to LST a plant and bend it over 90°?
Currently, I am using MG products.
SEEDLING dirt, mixed, PH 7.0 (unless conditioned).
MG Familiarity with from 1983 growing (before my 35-year abstention).
Much has changed.
I did and my Bonsai Clones (I believe they liked it. 3-year diet) enjoy MG’s MIRACID…
BUT the new world is out there.
I tried on my first grow but it didn’t work for me or I fucked it up cos it was my first grow
I had one seed banana Kush auto left over from my first grow that’s double the size of my first grow this one I topped it a few times looks and smells nicer that the first
I have used both FFOF and MG 2X Organics and honestly, I haven’t had any problems in my limited experience with 2 grows with 4 plants each with either. I am currently using MG 2X Organics for my just planted 3rd grow.
I think this new MG 2X is MG’s attempt to enter the cannabis friendly market that is growing across the nation.
I’m a believer in doing what works and keep it simple. Agree with @VirginiaGrowBoy, he has done well
The main thing when you bend them over 90° is that you have to support the bottom of the stalk so that way you don’t disturb your root ball. So in other words which ever way that you are going to bend it over you need to support it the opposite way at the bottom of the stalk. That’s what I have learned from my experience
what autoflower mix?
I am unaware of any soils specifically manufactured for Autos.
Please enlighten me. I appreciate everything you guys do/share.
@jorkvilleyoe It’s the nature’s living soil mix
Yau know, Ive never heard of defoliating bud sites either, gotta say that’s a new one for me.
