2nd time growing Autoflowers soil questions

So I’m about to start my second run and have researched this living soil concentrate and would like to know if anyone else has used it. Can you mix this with strawberry fields? The first run I ran a mixture of Happy Frog and ocean Forest the first time with mixing in the fox farm Trio for nutrients in the water and this started using the fish shit about halfway through the Run.

I tried it once…I’ll admit I was clueless (2nd grow then) I mixed it in with some FFHF and had to transplant during the seedling period. Toooo hot but my fault and I never went back to experiment more… switched to coco :love_you_gesture:

First time with outdoor autos, using miracle grow organic, will I still need nutes or does the soil have everything it needs.

Growing with MG will be tricky due to the time released nutrients and no control over this. A few have mastered growing Cannabis with Miracle Grow but I would suggest a cannabis friendly medium :love_you_gesture:

Thanks for the advice, wasn’t sure whether to try it.

Are you potting these? Fox Farm makes some great user and cannabis friendly soils and coco that basically feed your plants for several weeks with water only. A great place to start while you get nutrients figured out. My favorite is their coco loco. It’s a blend of coca and decomposed Forrest products. Loaded with essential bacteria and fungi and base nutrients :love_you_gesture:

Gotcha, I haven’t done much research on the organic MG and it might be a little more cannabis friendly. I have read where Scott’s/MG has invested a lot of money in the cannabis mediums. Maybe a good soil and MG mix would work for ya??

COM is great, I’ve done a few plants in the Stonington Blend :love_you_gesture:

I usually run my auto mix with Strawberry fields at the bottom since that has more flowering nutrients then FFOF then to it off with Happy frog so you won’t burn the seedlings. Last time I used living soil I got thrips. Was able to get the 1st infected plant early enough so it didn’t spred to the others. Ive always had success this the Fox Farm soil mixture.

Looks like you may be slightly over watered. I only say because of the way the leaf edges are curling up a bit. Ive personally found with autos that less is more. I have 5 going now and give them about 12 oz of water every 5 to 6 days. Typically I’ll pour it around the outer edges of the 5 gall pot so the roots keep traveling to find it.
