Have some ilgm maui wowie in week 9 of flower here. One of the plants is showing a little amber trichomes one is not. Around week 6 of flower i had a light failure and the plants were in the dark for 6 days, left tent open so the got very little ambient sunlight. They seem to have recovered well but am unsure when to chop. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Plant looks great. I always wanted to grow that strain. It’s a blast from my past.
I don’t see any white pistols however, they have darkened and just started to turn in to the bud it looks like 65% are still poking straight out.
I definitely do not see any clear trichomes. Yeah I don’t see enough Amber for me to chop. I like to see 10 to 15% personally.
I would give it at least a week to see them hairs turn back in to the bud and to see a tad bit more Amber.
It could be me, it could be the pictures however, the buds look like they’re on the smaller size. I’ve always seen this strain with fat buds. Did you use any additional phosphorus during flower or Bud ripening additive?

Yes, ive been using gaia green nutrients along with rock dust, earthworm castings, fish bone meal and seaweed mixed into the soil. Possibly a week in thr dark has lessened bud size. I just checked and im finally seeing some amber on the other plant.
