2nd Grow- Bubblegum and AK-47

Update: 03/07/2022
Something new to me on my second grow! Excited to learn! What is the purple leaf on my AK-47 or Bubblegum (depending on who you ask)??? Is it senescence? Ph? Cold? Or anthocyanins coming out in the strain? Excited to hear your thoughts! @Graysin @SilvaBack203 @PurpNGold74 @Covertgrower @dbrn32

Not enough light? Or wrong kind? @SilvaBack203

My other short squat ask or bubblegum lady.

Probably combination of a few things lining up. Some plants won’t show color no matter what you do, so genetics play a factor. There is also a yellow leaf under your purple leaf indicating a ph issue or nutrient deficiency.

I was thinking genetics and possible deficiency. That first pic with the slight purpling looks like a good ‘purple plant’ showing its colors with cold or flowering… more then likely chilly. But the wide views look like she missed a lil something.

I agree with this and @dbrn32 - largely it looks like genetics. But also you’ve got some deficiencies at play on the lower leaves.

Thanks everyone! Your responses are definitely appreciated! I love hearing all of the perspectives! I will be adding some nutes to see how the ladies respond and I will keep you all posted. Appreciatively,

Do you all think it is typical to have a plant want nutrients at every feeding? Since starting my feeding, I have added nutes @ every feeding except one, instead adding water and molasses. After that, the colors showed up.

When I have buds on the plant it’ll never see regular water again most likely

Wow! Interesting. That is awesome, I love that. @Bluntsmoke you grew BBG too, right? Did yours also display that pheno?

Thank you! @Bluntsmoke very helpful!

Okay! ak- 47 & bubblegum planted on 12/25. Update & what do you all think about the color now? Genetics, nutes, temp., light, pH? How are they looking? Will they finish at comparable times? How long do they take to finish!? Weigh in please!! @Graysin @PurpNGold74 @Covertgrower @Bluntsmoke @dbrn32 @SilvaBack203 Thank you in advance! Preciate you.

One will finish faster, it’s farther along in flowering.
