When I bought my tent was sent it came with fertilizer 20/20/20. I’ve ordered fertilizer from Robert but is what I have any good?

Can you take a picture of it? Those are pretty high NPK numbers compared to the FF I’m using.
I would think any fertilizer would work if used properly but I would recommend using Roberts fertilizer over the 20/20/20.
Cannabis needs certain nutrients at certain stages of life and the 20/20/20 will be giving your plant too much of the last 2 numbers early on in its life and too much of the first number late in its life cycle. (Nitrogen/phosphorus/potassium)
If it were me I would wait and use Roberts fertilizer and use the 20/20/20 in your veggie garden. Just my personal opinion.

Not at home till noon but all it says on bag is 20/20/20 fertilizer and is an aqua color. I bought this from a company that makes a tent on website specifically for weed. But with my readings looked too high so here I am asking knowledgeable people like you about it. Can send a pic as soon as I get home.
I was thinking the same but being a newbie wanted to ask. Matthew420 gave me same advice.

Being the aqua color I would make a guess that is like a miracle grow type fertilizer. Which can be used but you most likely won’t see the results as you would see using Roberts fertilizers which have the correct NPK values.
Roberts fertilizers will most likely have 3 separate fertilizers that will be used at different stages of growth and you will most likely see a much better end result which ultimately is what we all strive for when growing cannabis.
This is the best forum I have found for sound advice for growing. Most everyone on here has years of experience and are willing to lend a hand when any issues arrise

That’s it, I knew I’d seen that before miracle grow. I’ve got Roberts on order and seeds socvy them hopefully y all will be a go.

If you are in the USA I have been using a product available through Home Depot called Black Magic. It has been doing well for me and is organic.

I use FF and it seemed to do fine. I also see people using General Hydro stuff. I’m sure the black magic would work as well, I’ve just not seen it. I’ll be googling though

Owned my Miracle-Gro, their product line to break into the cannabis market. Interesting. I’ll be looking more at it since it’s so readily available.

I had good luck my last grow using the FF and will use it again since I still have some. After that, I might change to the General Hydro since it’s a bit less costly and I’ve heard good things.

Black Magic has apparently been around for a long time and is optimized for marijuana cultivation. I’m not aware of it being a house brand.

You would use it for flower or to help fix defiencies.
If you have a phosphorus deficiency you should use any N-P-K ratio that is over 5.Again Peters all purpose 20-20-20 is a good mix.
So ya hold on to it you may need it later on.

I just saw the commercial for this Black Magic soil, I did a search for it here and poof, here I am, so you like it? I was going to look in to it because I am 30 mins from HD and about 1&1/2 hrs from the grow store where I was going to purchase FF.

I think their soil is just fine; the dry fertilizer is a good product but that’s about the limit of my experience, I’ve been using the Bloom Booster too, but improperly in all likelihood. My plan is to grow in Black Magic soil and use Fox Farm nutrients.
