2 weeks in, just want to sell my light

Keep at it
Try just one plant at a time then build up. This forum is a remarkable resource for those of us just getting growing

Just keep it simple. Once u get past the seedling stage its basically autopilot until flower. Water them when they dry out the first few weeks of veg then take a run off sample and feed if need. All the way to flower. Once you are constantly in the grow space is when problems pop up. Check on them once a day usually to make sure they are good and leave em be.

Being a Director ,Its actually very similar to what you do. direct…Its all about assigning a task and the follow through, repetition and experimentation and gleaming knowledge from others to form you own formula/method.In my case I’m relying on Mother Nature ( I’m outdoors),So I just cant sell her. There’s many frailties and other sorts of perils outdoors too! Keep on keepin on… And stick with it!! Like all others have said already Give them time …just a little… Theses are very resilient plants that have a strong will to survive…I guess that’s why they call it “Weed”…Its actually really hard to kill weeds…Good Luck …Keep us posted!!

@plumbdand :100: Yes that’s true… We sometimes tend to do that when things are new (Kids, Puppies, a new car etc…) After the first ones you learn and it gets easier and easier each time! Good One plumbdand.!

Good decision NYDon. You won’t regret it. Al-Green is right, it’s just a weed. I can’t hardly kill the damn things in my yard with weed poison  read, read and then read some more and you will get thoroughly confused. that’s ok and normal. too much conflicting 411. basics are watering, light and atmosphere. a couple of tools on hand like a ppm/tds meter and you will be good to go.

I am a born & raised control freak. As the group here have advised, I have tried VERY hard to not play with them.

Reminds me of the Army… Hurry up and wait! Lol.

Glad to see you decided to stay the course
You will look back one day and be glad you did …

no different than any new journey. learn as you go and if you do manage to not be successful, try again. you will at least know what not to do next time. even if you don’t keep a journal here, keep up with it on a spreadsheet, pencil and paper or whatever so you have something to look back on and you will have the ability to look back and see what you did wrong and right. take a lot of pics so you can look back and see the progress.

nothing like a game of “on the bus off the bus”

I am relatively new to this, but I’ve completed 6 grows and never had a hitch with any of them. No hermies, nanners, root rot, powdery mildew, spider mites or diseases. And none of it because I have a green thumb. I certainly don’t and have the dead houseplants to prove it.

Yes, there is a lot of conflicting information out there, and differing opinions, but the basics don’t change. The right light (which you have), the right food (be careful not to over feed), the right temp and the right humidity are the key factors, and getting them right isn’t hard. None of it is rocket science. It just takes some attention to detail and some TLC. Don’t give up.

Good choice sticking with it. Every 1 here will help you succeed and harvest
U mention the army just think about the seedling as basic training red phase, its the toughest but once you finish it everything else becomes repetitive. By the time you get to ait or osut a.k.a harvest you will have all as muscle memory

I would suggest to pick one solid experienced grower and follow him along ,ask questions a lot of questions, and before you know it you will be growing some solid buds…
Patients is the biggest hurdle in this hobby.
Good luck and happy growing.

Don’t give up, I’ll get on your journal and see what’s up and see if I can get you turned around, if plants aren’t dead I can help you save them.
