Not really, it just keeps the bend in place without strings or tiedowns.
This super crop technique produced nice bud branches. Be prepared to support the branches afterwards especially when their woody.

Train wreck is a fun plant I have one in a manifold. Or I should say a half a Train wreck accidentally broke her in half. All your plants look great.

One of the WW I started training this morning.
Skipped feeding for all of them today. At some point this week I’ll up the nutes for the older lady’s from 1 teaspoon per gallon to 2. Currently only giving them GH flora nova grow and bat guano as needed.

Training a plant like that is an art! Sorry you broke that one. I broke one on my last grow. Stunted its growth and made it herm.(free seeds right!!??) was trying to avoid that this time.
