Not really to sure what I’m doing as this is my first grow any help will surely be appreciated my tent size is 2x2x4 (considering only growing one because of the very limited size) my tents temp is usually right around 80f and mid 60s for humidity I’m running 24 hours of light my soil is a mix of ffof/coco I also threw in some coffee grinds (the auto in the small container is straight coco)
Choose either soil or coco when you transplant. Mixing them can cause problems as coco and soil each have differing pH and watering requirements.
Be careful to avoid overwatering at this stage. A few ml per day is all that is needed right now.
Welcome to the forum.
I’ve just been giving a little water when the top looks dry my waters ph is 6.6 I got ph down not realizing I could have just used lemon juice or something acidic
The sweet spot for coco is 5.8 to 6.2. For soil it is 6.3 to 6.8.
What should I aim for since my soil is a mix of coco and soil probably about 80-90% soil and 10-20% coco
I would shoot for 6.0 to 6.2. It’s not going to matter a whole lot at this stage, as you should be transplanting them within a week or 2 and it’s not the roots that are needed for nutrients at this point. The plant is drawing nutrients from the cotyledon leaves as seedlings at the moment.
The most significant reason for managing pH in the correct range is to maximize nutrient uptake by the roots.
I think I’m only going to repot the one plant I already have very limited space so I’m not trying to add any extra stress besides lst
The issue with your smaller container is there is no drainage. Usually want at least 30% perlite in with the coco, not sure if there are holes at the bottom either. It appears the smaller one is maybe overwatered. I’m only saying that because I just did this same thing recently and severely stunted my growth on the same strain same aged plant.
I made sure to add some holes to the bottom the coco was still pretty wet when I added the seed I’ll definitely wait some time before watering again
It’s hard to really go off the description that companies use because they will tend to overhype their product. From what I read that will suffice, it almost seems just like a spiderfarmer sf1000. I am running two of those inside a 2x3x5 and seems to be going good.
Should I wait a week or two or should I transport asap ?
I wish I was more experienced to give you the right answer because I don’t want to cause issues for you. @MidwestGuy would know better than me
Too soon to transplant Growmie, let it grow a few weeks to establish some roots
You may want to only grow one plant your light want be enough for two plants in flowering stage you need around 120 true watts per plant to get good tight buds you can grow 2 plant the buds will be airy.
Would I get a higher yield with just one plant then?
Yeild depends on several variables Growmie. Genetics, lighting, environmental conditions, medium nutrients etc. you’ll get better quality buds under that light with one plant
So quality over quantity basically
You can get both when all the parameters are on point
That’s the goal definitely planning on getting a bigger tent
