I’m a little worried about the one close up that is kinda blurry. It is hard to say for sure because of being so blurry, but that one kinda gave me a male flower vibe. I can’t be certain at all with it but keep an eye on it.
OK, start looking into super-cropping techniques. They are very harsh but it may be your only option to get the height under control.
Look at you tube, they have some good tutorials that show how to reduce the amount of stress with extreme bending of the branches. With patience you can get very sharp 90 degree bends without breaking the stem at all, breaking open the skin of the bending branch is what one is trying to avoid. It is not the end of the world if you do break something, wrap it tight with duct tape as a bandage if you do.
Pick the biggest looking nodes/developing flowers and try and imagine a way to rearrange everything where these biggest ones are maintained and getting the most light and in a way that would promote an even canopy about half the height of the distance to the light. You will need to think of ways to support this canopy, kinda the screen of green and or other trellising, tying down and or tying to hold for support up to maintain and promote this canopy. You might want to remove whole branches or stems of the rest of the smaller stuff.
You don’t have to do it all at once, be hesitant, be careful and be very conservative in what and when you cut stuff off. Only remove a little at a time, see how the bigger parts continue to grow, and how smaller stuff that is getting more light takes off, and maybe catches up to some of the bigger stuff. Keep me posted and keep the pictures coming and I’ll help guide you the best I can.
Hi Mac, Your intuition was right on the blurry bud pic. I used my 60x jeweler’s loop and then I saw the balls, bananas, pollen sacks, so I cut it out and I am down to 5 plants and hope for the best. I don’t know if the tiny plant in the middle will survive. The other 4 larger plants look like females but I will keep a close eye on them. This was my first grow and its just training but I would still like to get some buds out of it. I will use all feminized seeds on future grows. I cant wait until I get my seeds from this site. My new closet for the next grow is 4 x 3 x 7. How many plants will I be able to comfortably grow under 900 watt LED? I am sending more pictures of the male plant and the extra room in the box… ture
You are gonna want to start pulling some of those tops down, tie them down a little and keep pulling lower daily, for more of a low stress training, or super crop high stress training bend them harshly right way, what ever works best for trying to envision as equal a canopy for all the plants and at the same time creating more room for more growth for the taller plants without growing into the light, even if that means you kinda redirect the growth from the top flowers that are getting too tall by kinda pulling them over so they are growing more horizontally.
In the future you wouldn’t have to do this so drastically nor so late in the game as you are training and planning it out on the plant from the beginning.
For a 4’ x 3’ with 7 feet tall, I would grow one or two plants ScrOGed. You could fit 2 x 5 gallon bucket DWC in that space nicely and even with only one you could create a awesome 4x3 canopy with maybe less overall work than two plants and still yeild about the same total.

or you could do a SOG with one plant per square foot with minimal or no training, or you could do a bunch of small one bud/main cola plants with about one plant per 6 x 6 square inches
Hi, Thanks to you guys I am going to have a harvest, not as much as I had hoped but happy for first grow and for all your help. I believe that with my new 700 watt LED light I will produce more than the CFLs in the grandmas secret garden box The plants pulled thru and I am flushing with just water, no nutrients, I am just not sure if I use the General Hydroponics flushing agent now and at the end of the 2 weeks or just wait until 2 days before I harvest like the bottle says? I have started a new grow with OG and Super Skunk with my grow box while the other plants flush in the closet I built. I hope Roberts seeds are as good as advertised. I don’t know if its a stupid question but If I were to cut off the bigger buds/colas would the smaller ones that have buds on them still grow? I don’t know why I waited this long to grow [I do kids and cops] but now I am hooked and this is great way to grow my own medicine instead of paying super high prices at the dispensary. Newbies like me cant thank all of you enough for the help and advice you give. I cant wait to get Roberts Gold leaf and start that.

HI Yoshi, Thanks for your reply but that post was many years ago. I have read Bergman’s bible, Ryan Ridleys bible and gone to Oaksterdam U and am still always learning.
