To all that have done a grow journal on here. How do you actually start and maintain a grow journal? I’m already sprouting 10 gg#4 so is it too late and is it a pain in the butt? Any and all input welcome!! Thanks!!
It is all up to you how often you post. A little or a lot. I keep a notebook as well.
You started one with this thread lol
It your journal as @Smokin_ernie mentioned
If you looking to track your grow
Most start them once the beans break ground
You can post what your doing on a given day
Something like
Feed day how many plants and amount of water and nutrients given
Ect and continue to update when your doing something in the grow room
This will give you a reference for you next grow
What worked what didnt what you did to correct a issue and so on
Happy growing CB
Plus the added bonus of pics… i think we all agree. Seedling porn is widely acceoted and valued.
But seriously the growth happens so fast. Its nice to ‘flip the pages in the family album’
Sidenote: be prepared for the most OFF TOPIC banter from time to time.
Bud porn is the best
And it’s never too late. I’ve read couple of post where people have jumped in anywhere’s between middle of veg to a month of more to harvest. It really up to you. Everyone tread is different so you start yours when you want to. I have two babies in their first week of flowering and one little girl who I am waiting till her siblings finish before I start. I might even start earlier simply because of how excited I am to be apart of the forum. Great people here and excellent advice!
But when you do tag me. I love seeing all the type of strains people are working on. I look forward to your grow as well! @Anonyboii
Ok I didn’t realize starting a thread would start a journal so darn, my hand has been forced lol. First pic of the grow. Planted seeds on 08/13. Today is day two of sprouting. Just lowered the lights this morning after work.
Bookmarked so I’m watching your grow!
Great! I welcome all advice from anyone!!
Lol isnt it funny… ‘forced’. and u put it in the perfect location. Now rename the topic (if u havent already) n noce looking girls. Be weary if that stretch.
@KingVars bookmarking alone diesnt set to watching. This does
Gotcha!
I see you feel my pain of being “forced” lmao . Yeah they stretched overnight so I lowered the lights this morning after work. Hoping that will slow em up.
Also, I noticed I have some light coming in at night through the air vent. I’m going to start closing it up at night
Bend those little girl stems back and forth gently. That will slightly injure them and help stop the stretch and the repair will make your stems stronger. Works well for my little ones. I did it to my blue dream seedling and then did nothing my blue cheese seedling and the blue cheese seedling grew an inch taller than the blue dream that I bent back an forth.
I like to track everything I do so the journals are perfect plus, detailed journals will help others help you when the time comes. No more a pain than social media…
Never heard of that before. Maybe try it on my Northern Hog
Yea man I ran across it in one of my readings, so I put it to the test and it is legit. The injury puts all the focus on the stem repair and not verticle growth. It seemed like a logical approach and that is what led me to test it out.
Going to try it on my little girl right now.
What is the typical turn around time before they start going again?
