Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, my new shop sold me the promix…i used to use Bush doctor coco loco… think I’m going back to that. Put ph has been 5.7- 5.9 since I started watering them. Run off ph is right on the money. It’s my 3rd time having extremely high run off numbers. You’ll see a droop and even some “lighter color” plants. I will test medium today. Any best way of testing the promix… and the nutes alone? I know going on the nutes ppm is ALWAYS 1030-1100. what I did find weird is that I only fed with grow and roots last night and the ppm was the same realm as when I do the 5 or 6 applications that I normally do? Thank you!!
Happy Growing!!
runoff ppm drive me nuts too. 4 plants, check runoff ph & ppm for each. Same soil, same feed, same same - except there always seems to be ringer when it come to ppm. Three will be 2000 - 2400 and then the 4th comes in a 3400 while ph is in a tight range. No clue as to why. I basically have to say that is odd and move on.
The plants look good.
Really appreciate the early morning consulting!!![]()
can’t wait till I get the males identified so I can deal with less ailments…lol.
Happy Growing!!
@beardless @Covertgrower @BobbyDigital
Hey peers😁. Asking for advice. I have 33 bagseed plants. I’ve been able to identify 8 of them via pistils. The other 25… can’t tell either way… which is weird. I have 2 decent size lights in my 5x9. Should I throw the 8 under 1 while I sort out the others? Was thinking 12-16 for this 1st grow anyways? Thanks for any input!!
Happy Growing!!
please help identify? I think it’s a male… like it’ll unfurl a seed?
thanks in advance!Happy Growing!!
Looks like another female.
Thank you! I have a lot more that look exactly like that. I haven’t seen anything that I can call a male! They are supposed to show first right?
Happy Growing!!
Typically they’ll show first but nature is nature and does what it wants. Could have some late bloomer males. It would defy all odds if they all come out female. Unless these bag seeds came from females that pollinated themselves. If these were bag seeds from dispensary bud, that’s likely the case.
Most generally in my experience if you have late bloomers they’re typically female. So I hope the best for you.
Males want to show first so they can get their pollen ready before the females are ready.
Do you think the last pic in the thread is a female as well? Thank you!!
Happy Growing!!
Yes that looks generally female.
Ok… last pic because I’m sure it’s annoying.
Seed being unfurled? Thanks in advance!
Happy Growing!!
Not sure on that one. You’ll have to wait to see how that turns out.
The attention to detail will payoff for ya - wholeheartedly agree with beardless fwiw, maybe try Happy Frog or some other starter soil that requires less nutes upfront? Should help with ppm early on anyway
Keep it up bromantic comedy
I appreciate the help everyone! I’m transplanting to the 5 gallon smart pots as I identify females. So I’m performing two functions with one…(flush/transplant). I haven’t always watered to run off… didn’t present a problem in my ph…5.8 but I think it created a ppm problem. I’ll be better about run off from here on out. Thanks for the help!!
Happy Growing!!
Hello @420qc,
Attention to detail sure makes a difference. I am learning the hard way. ![]()
Looking good mate.
Happy Growing
Hey @flyinghigh! Hope all is well! Yeah… the jury is still out as to whether this is “attention to detail” or a straight obsession!! I almost look forward to when I’m not looking every 20 minutes:rofl:![]()
. You’re gonna go through some ups and downs… as you see… we all do! I think even the pros, grow masters and mentors on here go through changes. They just know how to remedy so they’re not gonna be posting about it or asking for help. Can probably find a few questions in their 1st posts…lol. if I’m not mistaken… you’re a couple weeks behind me? I germinated 6/27.
Happy Growing!!
