1st glance the struggle is real

Good…I thought it was just me. Lol. IMO looks like possibly magnesium deficiency. Are you only giving tiger bloom or all the fox farm trio?

I only mixed the full trio only one time and that lasted for about 3 feedings alternating with straight watering. It didn’t seem to make any noticeable changes. I’ve since then fed with just the tiger bloom a few times. In my head I’m thinking that this ocean forest is too hot so I hav t been feeding much nutes

At this point…your ocean forest doesn’t have any nutes left. FFOF will usually last you about 6 weeks. That’s what I use. I never water to runoff the first 6 weeks. Then at week 6 I water to runoff so I can read ppms and see what’s left in the soil. Most times at that point I will start the fox farm feeding schedule. I have the dirty dozen pack which the the trio plus 9 micro mutes. I start the feeding schedule with the appropriate week I’m in. Start with 50%. I water, feed, water, feed. When’s it’s water only day I use calmag and molasses. Once you start feeding , you must water to runoff each time. So on my water only days I will test the ph and ppm of runoff and record readings. Your plants will eat at different rates. So I get runoff of each individual plant and log readings. This takes little time…but if ya want good plants…then at my next feeding I make up a different solution per plant (6 in my state), according to my log book and what they exactly need. Sometimes my readings are good and I will do just water again, just like Some people do water, water, feed. But if you keep records then you can give your plants only what they need. Once adding nutes…Every 4 weeks I give them a good flushing of ph water to remove any salt build ups. If your only giving tiger bloom…I’d give them about a 50% mix of feeding for what week your in, she looks little hungry. Just my opinion :+1:

You’re not going to see a significant difference in one feeding, feed them for 2 weeks and you’ll most definelty see a difference. Lol.

So keeping better records is my next task to get better at, I just put a calendar in the room to help out with that.
What should I be looking for in ppm out? The worst looking plant out of the 4 was at 1297-1349 out which I thought was pretty high. That’s why I’ve been thinking hot soil and yellowing/burntish looking lower leaves were confirming that in by brain…
If the new beans ever show up they will go into happy frog. I think between that and what I’ve learned round 2 should be much better

Let me rephrase that. You may have build up if you haven’t been watering to runoff. 2 gallon pots? Id flush them out good with about 4 gallons of water each, but the last say half gallon or so would be your nutrient mix. So flush with clean water, but last bit of water must contain some feed. Since you just drained the soil of nutes. Hope that helps.

I’ll give that a try, thanks!

Your In depends on tap water, ro, spring. Just depends what you start with. Don’t want much over 400. If you have tap water, let it sit out for 24 hours to let chlorine evaporate.

You may have salt build up. Doesn’t matter what the ppm in soil,is. If the roots are locked out…then they can’t uptake the nutes. That’s why I suggested the good flush then add back 50% solution. Suggestion for second grow. Start in solo cups with happy frog and then transplant into ocean forest. Yes you can transplant autos. If you want to start in the forever home(which I have). Just layer the top third of pot with happy frog and ocean forest on bottom. Or just maybe a “plug” of happy frog around the seedling.

The plan is to start in solo cups then into happy frog in bigger pots, I think I bought 3 or 4 gallon. I know I’ve made mistakes along to way but for now I’ve lost confidence in the ocean forest so I’m looking for a change. Also thinking about jacks nutrients.
I just set out bunch of water to declorinate so probably Tuesday Ill give that big flush

When you feed. Read the chart for their recommendation of ppm for that week (500 ph scale). But your solution will be lower ppm then what the chart says. Since you’ll be watering at 50%. The reading in chart is if you mixed 100%

I’ve had good success. Some growers do complain of it being too hot or inconsistent. But it’s been good for me. Saves on nutrients by not needing to feed for first 6 weeks. But everyone’s is different and ya just need to find what works best for you. There’s 100 different ways to grow cannabis…as long as you get the results you want and it works for you. Then your way is right.

The lights are going to come in soon, they were droopy after the flush yesterday. I hope they perk up today, about to find out… for whatever reason every time I water to substantial runoff they wilt badly for about 24 hrs

That’s very normal. And they’ll be fine. Mine drop a little after every watering. Especially after a good flush. Just remember that over watering doesn’t happen by giving them large amount of water at one time. Over watering happens over time, it happens when your watering too often. I give mine a good watering…but let the pot completely dry before giving anymore.

Makes sense, thanks. When I do a large flush, say 3-4 gallons do I need to ph all that water? Out of the tap I’m usually around 7 or a touch more

If your tap water isn’t near 7 then I’d think you should be ok. But the last bit that you water with will have nutes added. I’d ph that tho…6.5ish

Cool,I appreciate the time and knowledge

Lights on yet? Send a pic…how they look? Do you run lights at night for temp reasons…or are you on other side of planet? Lol.

Lmao, yeah my light schedule is flipped for temp control. The plant with the most yellow leaves is still a little droopy it’s in the back right. The rest arnt too bad. The hps light makes for crappy pics but you can zoom in… tomorrow they’ll all be perked up
