Day 19 of Flower. First Grow. First Scrog (I designed the net). Growing in coco/perlite. GH Nutes, 5.6 pH ingoing, 700 ppm. 2x4x5 tent. Just now changed light from Viparspectra P2000 to Viparspectra P2500 (probly in nick of time) as I decided to clone so needed another tent and light and so on.
Comments and feedback is most welcome!!! ATM I worry I have too many bud sites. but that is how training worked out. And what do I know, anyway? Hands off, no more scrogging. Training all done. Trimmed one tiny branch today is all. Most defo done a bit at a time up until about a week ago. The littler oneis Northern Lights, the larger obnoxious pushy one is Borderliner. I had to weigh down the Scrog last week cause of her! She is naughty. Birthdays were 12/11 for BL and 12/13 for NL. 8 weeks veg, then I flipped.
I have another screen just like first to add above in a while to support buds if needed. Transition stretch of about 16 days definitely over as of earlier this last week. Now it is just the buds.
Thanks so much! A bit nerve-wracking to move into flowering. I didn’t fill the screen but for my purposes I am satisfied…got as close as I could. Scrog is 8 inches above soil.
@mobius981 for your first grow you are doing very good and your girls look happy. Good idea to have the second trellis ready incase they really stretch for you…doing a good job of trimming keep it up
The buds are at or above the net so it should be good. If a bud ends up being too close to another try to move it or tie it to them a little more room.
Great job cleaning out the undergrowth and defoliating. They will only get more impressive as they grow.
22nd day report. Several buds above net significantly taller by about 2 inches, increased growth in just three days. Have, as suggested, tied a few budding branches to the net. Scrog is crowded, doing my best.
HAHAHAH! And my clones are showing roots, veg tent 2x4 again due today. Double the Stress, Double the Fun! The problem is if I am gonna repeat my grow, I will have to get rid of some clones (sob). No idea what to do about that one.
