100% Clones, 100% Free . No chemicals, No plugs

Have been seeing Alot of Bad information lately on cloning your cannabis plant’s…
You do realize for 34yrs i have used a Solo cup with water ( No ph. Nothing but tap water) an cut off a nice 1 or 2 foot clones … Dosen’t need to be that big , but i like to start off with a nice big plant… Not a 6 incher lil weed .
This has worked for … well probably Sence the dawn of time… why you are spending anything to clone is just a waste of money… .

Kind of like the tree cloth bag everyone is buying, You see i dont plan on keeping them for over a yr … They are for trees people… we have been growing killer smoke for a long time… You have just found a way to charge money an make up unnecessary processes that confuse new people…so they buy 20 bottles of the the same thing thinking thats right, Or listening to someone that OWNS the company telling you how you need this stuff…

Just a FYI…

I will put up the " how to clone with water & a cup " if someone would like to see it…

Use your common sense people please…

Welcome back. Bad information is normally false info. So what false info did you read that doesnt produce on ilgm. Size of clone depends on ones space and desires.

Im new, so who are these owners so i can stay away from those places.

New grower so just out of curiosity would love to see your cloning process in a step by step guide.
Just trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible and learn end things. Thanks

Absolutely - successful time tested information is always appreciated. If it is simpler with greater success than my dip-it and stick-it method - why not use it.
First dip-it in root hormone powder

Second, stick-it in seedling mix (I use coco w/perlite)

9 of the 10 made it. I think I missed watering the one that didn’t.

From the small solos some were moved to 16 oz pots 5/4

From there 4 went into 2 gallon rain science pots 5/17 at which time they were pruned down to 3 or 4 stems that I wanted to keep. these are headed for the 3x3 tent for a small SOG.

Others were destined for autopots. I’ll grow out 2 of them.

The closet where I use the autopots didn’t open up until 6/16. No one told them to stop growing. Over 3 months before they were moved into their final place

The four in the tent SOG are almost ready - photo from 8/31

The two that are in autopots in the closet are about 3 weeks behind the tent

Thanks for the info… Very detailed, and informative.

I use a tiny cloner tank because

  1. My success rate with that style method was low
  2. the timed watering , and visual confirmation of root growth activity seemed to solve my issues of killing them
  3. 100% success rate

Soil clones were maybe 20-40% success for me. So, i do want to figure out how i was causing the issues.

Thanks again for the details

There’s also this:

Cut a clone with clean sharp object. Put in water. Change the water once every few days, especially if using a clear container like a glass or a water bottle. Wait for roots.

Some strains are just more stubborn than others.

Cloning can be cheap, easy, or cheap and easy. Success rates are better the more thought and care you put into it - not necessarily money, but sometimes money. :man_shrugging::v::sunglasses:

I’ve been doing this for quite a while now. I sex out my Reg seeds by taking a snip off the bottom maybe 3 weeks into veg & in a cup it goes, under 12/12 immediately.

Acapulco Gold cutting under a cheap led desk lamp and water for a solo cup run. I use a cloner too, cost was $25 bucks :love_you_gesture:

Man i agree with you growing cannabis plants is easy and shouldnt be so damn expensive and cloning is easy aswell you dont need cloning gel or powder you can use a aspirin for or honey or as you said just a cup of water .o

My water clones developed a horrible algae problem. I had to compost them all.

I took these 6 a couple of days ago. So far, so good, I can see little fuzz starting to root. And I just got back 4 Death Bubba cuttings! I need at least 2 of those to take.

Aloe is an awesome organic alternative as well.

Leave it in your tent in the shade on the floor. The snips don’t need much light. I promise you it works. Only maintenance should be topping off the water level so the bottom of the stem stays submerged. If the water level drops too low for too long, you will come back to wilted cuts. (Hasn’t stopped me from rehydrating & keeping them going. These plants are pretty dang resilient. I love it!
