I know theres so many! Cant wait for it to get under some good light!
Harvesting in the morning, just took these pics so she lives forever on the internet haha. This has taught me so much patience. I know im gonna enjoy smoking this as much as i have enjoyed growing it. It was always the best part of my day checking over it and fixing this or that. My fiance picks on me because ill get mesmerized and end up staring at it for like 20 minutes lol when im supposed to be doing something else lmao
Dude I need your secrets. Can we smoke together I’ll be better at using the Jedi Mind trick just in case you try to avoid my picking your brain.
Yeah grow bro if youre in my neck of the woods (Delaware) anytime we can put some in the air. But ill warn you jedi mind tricks im immune to lmao. You can ask me anything you want and ill respond with what i can. Thx for the appreciation but i attribute everything i do to nutrients and power of light and the plants ability to adapt to stressors and trying to create an even canopy. I boiled banana peels and watered them with it and i used superthrive in the beginning with bone meal and castings mixed . Seems like it worked pretty well
I think shes bouncing back. Was curious what yall thought about how shes looking after transplanting. Ive noticed swelling in the buds and major development of trichs as well. Plz lemme know what you think
@Storm
Looking great… shell be fine. How many weeks into flower is she
She looks like she is pushing through it. I wouldn’t suggest you try this at home. But sometimes you have to and your having luck with these. It’s not too late to put some beneficial microbes on her to help roots respond. That could help the overall health of your plants to finish strong.
The roots are affected from transplanting during any stage of growth. During flower it’s very important for them to respond and seek out the new soil.
Transplanting cannabis plants during the mid-flowering period is generally not recommended due to the stress it can cause. However, if you must do it, here are some best practices and tips to improve your plants’ response:
Best Practices for Transplanting During Mid-Flowering
- Minimize Root Disturbance: The key is to handle the roots as gently as possible. [Try to keep the root ball intact to avoid shocking the plant].
- Water Before Transplanting: Water your plants a few hours before transplanting. [Moist soil helps keep the root ball together and reduces stress].
- Prepare the New Pot: Fill the new pot with quality, nutrient-rich soil and make a hole large enough to accommodate the root ball. [This ensures the roots have immediate access to nutrients].
- Transplant in the Dark: If possible, transplant during the dark cycle to reduce stress. [Plants are less active during this time, which can help them recover more quickly].
- Support the Plant: After transplanting, provide support to the plant if needed. Staking can help stabilize the plant and reduce stress on the roots.
Tips to Improve Plant Response
- [Use Root Stimulants: Applying a root stimulant can help the plant recover more quickly by encouraging new root growth].
- Maintain Optimal Conditions: Ensure your grow environment is stable with proper humidity, temperature, and light levels. [This helps the plant focus on recovery rather than adapting to new conditions].
- Avoid Overwatering: After transplanting, be careful not to overwater. [The roots need time to adjust and too much water can lead to root rot].
- Monitor for Stress: Keep a close eye on your plants for signs of stress, such as wilting or yellowing leaves. [Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage]
Transplanting during flowering is risky, but with careful handling and attention to detail, you can minimize the impact on your plants.
Honestly not sure maybe 4 or 5 week’s. I thought she was looking better,i know the older leaves are gonna be gone but the younger growth is a good green. Today is the 4th day and soil is still moist so i cant add nutes yet because i need the roots to adapt and seek nutrients and water themselves and not watering encourages it i think.
The buds are noticeably bigger and frostier
Right i would wait to water another day or 2… pay attention to the plants now make sure you didnt sress them to hermie but you should be fine
I appreciate the wealth of info you shared. Soil is still moist so i cant water yet. I have rooting hormone for cloning so if you could explain as to how id go about applying it to the plants roots?
Thx bro and yeah ive been vigilant on that cause she started out herming in the beginning if you dont remember. It was you that actually confirmed what i was saying tbat it had some mixed sex pistils with sacs ,you said i hate to go against thw grain lol literally everyone else told me nothing to worry about but listening to you helped me save hwr from going full blown herm. I caught it and fixed it so thanks for that !
You wouldnt using coning gel now… normally when you transplant you can use microrysa ( totaly not spelling that rigjt ) a good product is dynomyco.
I understand what you mean bro,thx . It didnt make since to use it at this point anyway
Well im glad they are bouncing back… i got 3 more to chop when i get home this weekend.
Thats something good to look forward to my bro. I aint there yet but wanna have a setup where i have a few to harvest every month. Youve got a nice setup my bro, much better than me just winging it until i get more equipment a lil at a time
Could also get a mycorrhizae power to top dress an let work it’s way into the soil helps root development and prevent transplant shock.
Well sir if id have known about this before hand id sure of applied it at time of transplanting, thx for the future advice. Maybe a Hydroponics store near me will have what i need
Clearly it was not necessary she is doing well.
Thx ,i was having my doubts about her until today. Buds are swelling, trichs are showing pretty decent . Mostly only the older leaves were used fkr energy and nutrients it appears. Thx for the guidance
