Chopped this one down after 73 days. It was just starting to show some amber trichomes. The rest seem like they need another week or two.
Any advice on how to get denser buds?

What were you using for your current lighting?

I’m in a 5x10 tent 8’ tall. Running 2-600’s and a 1,000 watt HPS from start to finish. 18/6 lighting.
In my opinion that is plenty of light, since lighting isn’t an issue, I would say genetics is another factor that needs to be considered. Genetics has a lot of influence on flower structure, and sativa dominate have a more airy flower. Indica usually has a more dense compact flower.

Looks like you chopped early. I see a lot of white pistils. I hope I am wrong.

Nope you’re right on…I chopped to early… dang it lol didn’t get in deep enough looking at trichomes. Looks like I should have left her for another 10 days or so

I used to pull by the color of the pistils. Now I know to look at the trichomes.

Those appear to be leaf pics and will turn before the bud. 
Yes try and get pics of the bud meat not the surrounding leaf. The meaty stuff won’t ripen as fast as it’s a thicker piece of meat than the leaves are. Just like cooking a steak buddy. If them are autos that’s one reason they r not as dense as most talk about I’ve yet to grow out a auto that had super super dense buds. My GDP auto was the best so far and it was average dense not like the others I’ve grown. Ut not like the photos either
