Zampano's Second Grow 💨

If your humidity is up to par now in the tent it’s best to take the dome off now. She’s big enough that airflow is probably more important.

Is that little seed shell thing still on there? Take two pair of tweezers and pull it off it could be choking the stem

As far as stunned, it’s looking 50/50 how many days is she since popping the dirt?

It’s still snowing here. 24°

I got that little shell off on Thursday, it did not want to let go of that stem, Thursday is also the day i put that dome on.

I actually just took the dome off this morning to give her a chance, she’s grown a little but she is so, so stunted compared to the other. I can already tell this little lady is going to be a pain in the ass.

They both cracked soil on Sunday the 5th

We were expecting more snow last night but thankfully it didnt, wife and i were worried she’d be stuck at work if the roads werent passable…now its just a gross mess.

Has anyone else been seeing a shortage of Distilled Water on the shelves?

I noticed this toward the end of my last grow and was having a hell of a time finding any. Seems thats still the case.

You can find Pedialite brand distilled water but that stuff is like $6/ga. Gimme a break.

I saw on Amazon devices that allegedly do the trick. I may have to look into one of those.

I use this. It’s not the fastest, but it does the job.

I used to name my plants at first, but ran out of names or couldn’t tell them apart after stepping up my grows! My first was 4 autos, Blackberry Kush and Northern Lights.
1 Rosie Odonald, she was a fat bitch!
2 Jennifer Anniston, was sexy AF!
3 Paris Hilton ,skinny and couldn’t please this one!
4 Halle Berry cause I wanted to eat her every time I saw her!
Always had to have a fitting name……

@lostgirl

Here’s the pics you asked for.
I feel so foolish, i had no idea that i was already doing the wrong thing so quick out the gate with these ladies.

I sure hope they pull thru, but a small part of me says take the L, learn from my mistake and start fresh with some new beans.

Hooefully what you suggested will work, i guess we’ll know in a couple weeks.

What would i do without you

I may get one. Its getting harder and harder for me to find any distilled water on the shelves.

If im not able to find any at CVS the next time i go to the city, this will be my next move.

It’s no problem, I’m just glad we found the issue now rather than later.

As we discussed on the phone you’re going to mix up 1 Ltr. Of feed consisting of.

Tap water 40ppm
Add 40 ppm of Calmag
Add 35 ppm of B-52
Total 150ppm

Now ph it to 6.5 shake well

Slowly feed from the outside in on the red line below. (Leaving a 1-in circle around the stem that doesn’t get watered)

Saturate each cup. But do it incredibly slow do it till you see the first few drops of water come out the bottom.

Basically you’re feeding to run off as slow as you possibly can.

Looking at the plants they do seem stun for 7 days old. We already know the problem and this is the solution to fix it. The fact that the plant has approximately 5-7 days of self nutrition may have saved your ass that we caught it today!

Once the cups dries out and it’s time to refeed mix the same regiment above and repeat the same watering process. If I’m correct they should bounce back from this.

We’re not going to transplant until we see sufficient growth to do so. We can monitor that by you simply posting some pictures every couple of days.

:v: Let me know if you have any questions :v:

Note
It will take a lot longer to dry then you’re used to but let them totally dry

I’ll start doing this once i see that the soil is good and dry, which will probably be tomorrow.

I’m glad i know this NOW for future grows, such a rookie move.

For those wondering, ive been using a mixture of tap/seaweed fertilizer in a spray bottle to saturate the soil twice a day. My tap is incredibly low ppm (40 range) and i figured this would work to my advantage, as a result my seedlings are a bit stunted.

@lostgirl caught it in real time, and called me on it

Since your documenting it I think it’s more important of the 8.0 pH of your tap water LOL :mask:

I think we called it in time personally

True. Im still pissed at myself for such a dumbass move.

Mistakes are beneficial in the long run because we learn from them. You’re going to make tons of them with this hobby. It’s the nature of the beast :japanese_ogre:

I found that watering slowly in circles in the seedling stage is the easiest when using a syringe. I don’t know if this a normal method but that’s how I do it.
