… but if you have 4 hlg boards and you get 2 knock of 47s they wont hook up to a 600 54b… you would need a separate
240 1050 correct? Because the voltage requirement differnce?

U can get the driver that the scorpion and the scorp diablo run for all 6 boards. I can take a pic of my driver on the scorpion at 8 when light come on. Its a bad ass light bro.

I’m pretty sure it’s the same as the 600v2 rspec… and then the new ones are invetronics
@Mark0427 , please a visual would be awesome , so I will know exactly what I’m ordering . I have no knowledge on what to order for what my goal is I’m trying to accomplish. It’s almost like my own style design , but boards , drivers , if I can get model numbers , picture , that will help me out big time .

Where dbrn gave me link to video with DIY bar style led set up. There’s links in descriptions to all the parts you need. Also if you visit. pacific light concepts dot com they have videos and link to there light builds where you can find the drivers n all. Sorry Idk if this helps but also in my thread we covered all the top lighting brands and there cost compared to building your own.

Can you tagged me in that discussion thread, I need all the info I can get , it’s only been what 4 years now maybe , and the lighting technology has past me by 3 years almost , I like that 650 Scorpion 
Diablo , or the Gavita 1700e , and it’s a 650S Slim Optic all 3 spectrums on dimmable switches, so I only want to spend once if it’s going to be about $2000 upgrade for the next what 3 years ? Crazy

for organic stealth indoors , I thought would be enough if I added and small Hps digital to the mix , plus I have a China Cheapy that came with the tent, I never really count it , I just used it because it’s more light , it supposedly a 400 but maybe 135 if that back than right . I want to be able to extend my veg time 
now so I can get strong generation of clones to pheno cross a few strains to see if I can pull off a "Seth Rogan " ? Diablo wind , Pancake Icing , and Pink Moon , I’m trying to get my west connections get me some samples and a few seeds and send them to me personally , save a few coins right. But I need a good strong balance indica , to cross with a heavy catalyst producing hybrid that can put of good trichome production right . I’ve been dabbling with extractions , and other things just learning stuff , hopefully to save cost for my personal used that’s all .

Now the quantum boards do come separate from the middle section. I’m thinking of another idea 
, I have in my brain 
on how I’m trying to model this setup .
I can figure out a way to mount just the Led chip board to the side of a double ended metal hood fixture , this would give me a very strong foot print of Led and HPS in the dead center 
, if I’m right , which I can be wrong , but if I’m wrong , I’m still right cause I was wrong but I can be right if I’m still wrong you know , but if I’m right , MH dead center for vegging , and HPS dead center for Flower , with HLG Led boards 650’s on all 4 sides of just the light fixtures , all the drivers will be mounted outside the tent , once I’m ready to put it in my permanent place , so it’s out of the way of company and guest. Plus I’ll have to fab my eeb flow deal which is me just laying out the pvc , but this will be a push play system right here at home , not as high tech as the farms , but close!
Is there any info that may been leaked on the next light design or technology to make them even more intense , are stronger in this year ? But as always , as soon as I hit purchase , and get confirmation reciet , go back to internet , and there will be a new light or the one you really want goes on sale $400 less , everything!

@yoshi , last fall I ran 2 Hlg 260 rspec xl with a 1000w hps in the center. The Hlg can be positioned 12-18” away. But the heat coming off the hps was massive( you have ambient temp and radiant heat to worry about ) .Even all the way up ,I had to monitor it constantly. And didn’t want it anywhere near my hlg boards. Hlg boards work better if you can get them close so the full spectrum can penetrate the canopy for a better flower.

@KoolHandLuke , my purposed is to add the HPS sodium, in the dead center of strong efficient Led’s , for more of the Ultra Violet par lux can Pentrate the very middle of the canopy in a super crop style Scrog.
Now for the sake of heat in my 1000watt Revolution Eva design commercial unit I had constructed , instead of running a D.E. build fighting for the same 1000watts , I run mix 500watt PGZX tubes simultaneously in the same fixture at 500 watts each tube , but one bulb 3000k and the other one 4000k the entire grow to give blue and red mainly from LEC digital ballast MH /HPS fixture & ballast , so if I can space some quantum board individually some how to box in that spectrum for the outer parameter of the scrog in a 4x4 to really balance out the color tops more balanced , not so much evenly, but definitely bigger and more densed is the goal . Again trying to find that new combo in a more updated with a piece of old school , I think 
" Electric Sky " brand lights is mimicking that method kind of in they light panel , I think it’s the one I’ve read with the uv tube light in the middle of the panel and led strip on the outer perimeter on the same light fixture, which I’ve seen really good product come from under some of those lights , but if HLG would put UV diodes in they quantum boards , Game Over that would be the light , but it will cost a few nickels and quarters for sure cause the uv diodes is expensive from what I’ve heard!

This is just my opinion, Hps can grow great weed ,but it’s a major waste in electricity. And the spectrum is lacking. Your HLG is a superior product. Now if you want to add heat to a greenhouse, it’s a nice add-on. HLG UV bars are for growers that are totally dialed in . Over doing UV will totally destroy your plants (moderation is the key )
