Yellow at base of leaves on young plants

This is a new thing. Young plants as new leaves emerge they are yellow at their base and green on the ends. I suspect soil is too wet from transplant. I do not have a photo at this time.

This is normal. Give them a few days for chlorophyll to catch up with the new growth and fill in the new leaves with a darker shade of green.

Pics are always helpful so that you get the most accurate answers.

This is why pics are so important. What I said above isn’t relevant here. That is an iron deficiency. What soil are you using and have you been feeding the plant?

You may also have stunting due to overwatering. How old is the plant?
